I don't like Vaccaro or Taylor that much

Exactly as I predicted up thread. Now the conversation is diverted to the merits of these guys. But hey, guess what? There are other safeties and RBs available in the draft. All the front office has to do is their job and pick the right ones.

Munch on 104.5 also saying that we need a big year in the draft for C and two G spots. Mentioned last time we hit big in draft and said we need a year like that. Said FA harder to know.

Said they discuss everything, but CJ wasn't really a big decision. Said there are ways to do things differently with him and if we improve things up front he can still be a big threat.

At the end of the day you have to ask yourself 'Will the changes get the Titans to the playoffs?' I say no at this point.

Coaches are one thing but the Titans have to get serous about getting some talent at interior OL and DE. If moves are not made in FA I can't see this team as a Playoff pretender.

No FA, then just blow up the whole franchise.

That's exactly the point I was making up thread. The changes made thus far don't appear to me to be significant enough to right the ship. They are just tinkering around the edges.

I see what you are saying about changes CTM, but we have not even gotten to free agency yet, the draft is months away, the team could still cut Hutch, Amano, Babs, Hass. So all we can really go on is the coaching staff shake up.

Williams is better than any coach currently with the team, that is an upgrade.

Henshaw has gotten proven results here before, that seems like an upgrade.

Sylvester Crooms is a very good coach, not sure if that is an upgrade or not, but I sure like him being on staff.

Jefferson is said to be a good WR coach, he did develop one of the best WR is the league...that seems like an upgrade to me.

Not sure if it will all work, but I like the direction the team is going so far. A lot of work to be done though. Time will tell

They haven't done shit if you are being honest with yourself. It's really sad. I don't expect this team to return to winning for quite some time.

We haven't even gotten to FA and the draft yet

We've hired/fired several coaches

What else are we supposed to do right now?

I'm mixed on GW, but who's out there that is so much better than him?

I'm a bit disappointed in the coordinator situation

They were never going to cut CJ and Griff

People are kidding themselves if they actually thought that was going to happen

We are apparently keeping CJ and Griffin. Not a fan of either one.

I'm liking ctm's logic in this thread, although I do think it's fine that we moved forward with JG (and brought in Williams) and to a lesser extent I'm ok with keep Loggains. Hopefully, he will really try to do something to keep his job.

I was hoping the team would go the other way on CJ for sure...let's just hope they get a pound the rock type RB to pair with him, and eventually take a majority of the carries too.

Have to wait and see the whole process first

I admit I'm mixed on Loggains and Gray, can only hope for the best there

The other hirings seem fine to me at least on face value. Good experience and background.

I always chuckle when we hire a new RB coach or TE coach or whatever and people groan about it like we were supposed to get some superstar RB coach who everyone's heard of.

I doubt anyone here can name more than a few coaches on SF and BAL besides Harbaugh and the coordinators without looking it up

I can judge what I've already seen. They are apparently keeping Loggains, Gray, CJ, and Griffin. In my book they are 0-4.
