We looked great the first two periods but seemed to let off the gas in the third and yes it was a BS call. The ref should NEVER should called a dumb penalty in that situation that could affect the outcome. They were even confused about what type penalty it was. They blew it. I'm only ten minutes into the second but I already know this game is over. To give the Hawks credit, they looked playoff ready. They kicked our ass. I read that they came to Nashville 2 days before they game so they were ready and relaxed. The Preds on the other hand played at Minnesota the night before and probably had to take a red eye flight home. They playerd hard but they didn't didn't have their legs under them. It was pretty obvious. That is not to take anyhting away from Chicago. They looked really good. The Preds schedule didn't do them any favors. A 10 day west coast road trip right off the bat and then a game every other day for a week with a couple of back to backs thrown in for good measure. That's a pretty tough way to start the season but the condensed schedule is going to be hard on everyone. Might as well get used to it. The scary thing about the Blackhawks is they have played most of theor games on the road and they are undefeated. YIKES. That foot pass was bad because it went right to the offense. He was just trying to get it out of our zone but you can't control the puck with a skate. Oh well, time to get ready for the Sharks. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

We've got to find some offense somewhere. They lost 4 or 5 in a row too. They got beat by Columbus last night and the coach ripped them in the press. They are going to be fired up. Should be a great game. I just hope we come away with 2 points. These 1 pont games are ok but 1/4 of the season is over already and if they want to make the playoffs and have a decent seed, they've got to win.
