Where's CMJ???? That was actually a great hockey game. Both teams brought it. Preds were hitting anyone who had the puck. Even big Hal Gill got pissed off. They played with an attitude last night. That was a gritty win and we needed it. The Preds can't get by on skill alone like some teams. They have to give it that extra effort and when they do they're tough to beat. Gaff the Sharks!

Preds win another shoot out. First the Cup champs then an undefeated team. Hopefully this momentum stays

These wins are huge, and scraping themselves into overtime and getting points is huge. One point goes along way. And it was always going to take Nashville some time to figure out offense. Luckily we are playing good enough defense to compete with teams who are clearly further along than we are. Right in the thick of the playoff race--in the short season that's all one can ask for.

I know it's early for this but, we are currently tied with three teams for 6th,7th, and 8th place in the western conference. Detroit, Edmonton, Minnesota, Nashville. If the playoffs started today we would be the last team left out. The good news is we are there at the end of the longest road trip of the season against all western conference opponents. It would be huge if we could beat the Blues tomorrow at St. Louis. We'd pull within 1 point of a tie for 5th place with them. We have got to find some offense. Especially with Hornquist out. Hopefully Erat will be back against the blues. Weber has yet to score. He;s due and Craig Smith has had chances but the points aren't coming yet. I believe they will. Beat the Blues!
