Do you think that the WR Rating system or ESPN's QBR system is rigged too?

Because it would be largely due to his statistics. Not because his name is Peyton Manning.

I don't care about QB rating. Like I said, just watch Manning and Brady play. Brady has outperformed him all year regardless what the QBR stats are. You should invest in Sunday Ticket so you can watch more games besides the Titans.

It shows everytime they play a decent team. Look at what Brady has been able to do against the Texans both times. Manning even lost to the Texans.

Manning lost to the Falcons, Hou, NE, and Baltimore in the playoffs. His other wins are against Browns, Cheifs, Raiders, etc. The only decent team he did beat was Baltimore in week 15 and NE willl show you next week how a real QB handles them.

I live in NE. You don't think I see Brady play as much as any QB?

Manning had a better year. I saw enough of both to make that judgement.

Again, NE would have had home field if Brady didn't falter against the 49ers.

This is what's wrong with America. This... and guns.

Let me ask you this.

Which player do you think you would have been better off having this regular season? Peyton Manning or Adrian Peterson.

If you say Peterson then I don't know what else to tell you.

While I think scine goes a bit overboard on Manning (especially the recent Manning v. Brady debate) he is right in asserting that the MVP will come down to Manning and likely Peterson or Watt. This has already proven to be a bit of a consensus, I'd be surprised to see this change now even though the fact that Brady is still playing will influence the vote. I think it's bullshit, though, to privilege QB above all else and forget the outstanding contribution of players at other positions. I get the argument for doing so, but I think that if you take away Adrian Peterson the Vikings don't make the playoffs or even come close. He put up historic numbers while teams consistently game planned for him. It's funny that this is dismissed by some as "stat stuffing" when the team was winning games. A QB can throw as many passes as the game plan calls for and he is never accused of chasing stats, or at least if he is it isn't held against him.

Do I think Peterson had a better regular season? Yes, I do. And there isn't any kind of objective criteria that dismisses such an opinion as irrational.

For the Titans, I take Manning. If I'm a host of other teams, I take Peterson. It depends on what you have and don't have.

As far as Manning, if you take him away Denver is a sub .500 team and SD probably wins the division.

The Broncos made the playoffs and won a game (otherwise known as getting just as close to the Superbowl) last year with Tim Tebow playing quarterback... and playing horribly. Come back to reality.

Bink, the voting is done after the regular season ends.

What happens now has no bearing on who gets the MVP.

Denver went to and won a playoff game with Tebow last year, they were a solid team before they got a quarterback. Without Peterson the Vikings probably lose 3-4 more games and have no shot at the playoffs.

I'm not going to argue with you if you are going to rip Peyton Manning's season.

I know it's fashionable as a Titans fan to hate Peyton Manning (he's never been one of my favorites) but come on. The guy is a living legend and will go down as one of the greats this game has ever seen. And 2012 was one of his greatest seasons ever.
