This was old and stupid when I was in high school, and that, my friends, was a very long time ago. 2. "Except the complete opposite of that." 3. any phrase that begins with a sarcastic, drawn out "Yeeeeeah . . . " as in "Yeeeeeah, about that . . . ." Some pf these phrases are still acceptable if you just drop the stupid drawn out "yeah" 4. The two most overused phrases of this political season: "double down" and "walk back." As In"Governor Romney said this completely over the top thing, and then, rather than walk it back, he doubled down on his comments." I almost threw up after typing that.
