It's a joke that you're trying to claim Mac was mishandled but I know you don't have the capacity to see anything beyond what is going on in Scineland. Then in 2001 he started throwing the ball all over the place because he had to, for 3 or 4 straight years. Now all of the sudden it's happening again. He was terrible in the Buffalo game and pretty much handcuffed in the Indy game. Fisher played those playoff games, particularly the Buffalo and Indy games, as tight as any coach could play a playoff game. The training wheels were not taken off until year 7. It was a long journey making Steve McNair Steve McNair but Fisher did it. I actually think it hurt us with Young. I think Fisher firmly believed after the Mac experience that with enough time and patience and support he could turn him into an NFL QB and that was very wrong. You're crazy if you think that the Titans were ever a pass first team, even in 2003. In 2002 it was all about the run. Go look at the statistics before you make these posts. You'd be insane to believe that they won in spite of him Against the high powered Jags Fisher opened it up and McNair threw 5 TDs and 300yds as they beat the Jags 41-14. This post seems to fly in the face of your assertion that we should have put MORE offense on his shoulders. Fisher had it right. Play it close to the vest...rely on my great defence...control clock...and my QB will probably make difference making plays on 3rd down in the red zone with his legs and arm. Pay more attention to your wives and girlfriends or whatever other things you have going on in life. It'll make you forget about it quicker and it makes it much less depressing. All you're reading is a bunch of overreactions after game #2 and it doesn't do anyone any good to argue about it. Although I think there are certain fans that are ecstatic over yesterday. They're much happier when they can complain about something than when they have nothing to complain about. Or raise the level of the forum. Don't get caught up in overreactions. I am basically ignoring all the crazy talk and not taking the troll bait. There are still a bunch of posters who are staying sane. I can understand folks being angry. The team is playing like a two win team at this point. Rise above the gross overreactions and name calling and add to the board what you want to read.
