Hey Guru, just letting you know the new layout looks kinda wonky on my 1024x768 display. Some elements are overlapping each other, such as the search box in the top right corner, and the facebook/twitter widgets to the side.

I like the new theme... it looks much better than the previous former theme (just personal preference) but I hope you'll consider maintaining the Two Tone Blue theme. That's still my favorite looking theme

Yeah, it definitely won't look good on a display as small as that. I'll fix the search bar thing, though. Just have to adjust the min-width. I can perhaps add a rule to where the links on the side will disappear on smaller screens.

Guru, when you quote someones post it's now hard to tell the difference in the quoted part and your own part. This is easily fixed I hope

It should be gray there now to help differentiate. I can do more if needed. I also made the border go all the way around.

Okay, the search should now stay in place on smaller monitors and the social media icons disappear on anything below 1024px wide.

I'll try to get ahold of opera at some point here soon and work on making a special stylesheet.

Just to be sure, please try doing a hard refresh. I was just working on the notification box and I had the same result you have there. I've since finished it and am back to normal. I wonder if it could have been a case of bad timing.

Just to give you something else to stick a pin in... in the Two Tone Blue theme for whatever reason down at the bottom where it tells you how many users are reading the topic and who, it lists 0 (regardless if anyone is reading it or not) and shows the names as:

  • <<<,
  • <<<,
  • FFF,

The strange thing is that it doesn't do it on the forum's index page. But it does this in any sub-forum page or any thread page.

Also, for whatever reason whenever I hit tab on my keyboard to move the cursor to the "post" button it moves it to the search field at the top of the page whereas before the update it was just move onto the post button and I could hit enter on my keyboard to post.

I don't know if these are issues on my end or what. I've tried it in Firefox, Chrome, and even IE and it does it in all three browsers.

I guess it was bad timing. Looks awesome now!

That's with the new upgrade software. It counts users in threads and forums in a different way. I fixed it on the old default but not on that one. I can but I have dinner reservations in a few.

Is there anything about the thread icon that shows whether or not I have posted in that thread? Also, on threads where the title is absurdly long- see the epic podcast thread - lines of text almost overlap when the title is on multiple lines.

Otherwise, unlike the last skin that took me awhile to get used to, this skin is very clean and preferrable to old ones. Well done.

I'm also a fan of the new logo.
