I made that point the day after the draft. I would have felt much better about him if they chose him at 11. By passing up on him at 11 and then trading up, it showed that they had no trust in their evaluation.  Not only that but every other NFL team declined the same opportunity. It looks really bad.

Any QB you take early in the second you should also be willing to take at 11.

Not only did they pass on him, they passed on him for a damn guard.

Vrabel was 6-18 in his last 24.

Vrabel has won more games in 2024 for the Titans than Brian Callahan has so far. Lol.    He beat the Jags in January 2024.

Ran wanted Stroud but Houston traded up so that’s easy. The other QBs suck even worse so again that’s an easy one.    Vrabel was 6-18 in last 24 so again an easy one.    the biggest ques

OL are the darlings now.  Teams realize no matter how good your QB is without a line you don't win. See Mahomes in the SB.

While guards have definitely gone up in value, the idea that you would take one even a "guranteed" Hofer over a guy you  think can be your qb for 10 years is insane.

But you cannot know if a QB will be a franchise QB. How many make it? 1 out of 10? But a 1st round OL that can start day 1 is gold. Look how well Latham has played.

That lg isnt worth much if your qb sucks. Also skronski has been low end starter material anyway. At this point the give him a shot at tackle argument could be argued isnt even because our tackle play sucks. Its because he isnt a good guard. In pass blocking at least.

You weren’t a Titans fan for the Warmack days? The point is they knew Levis wasn’t a Franchise Qb when they passed on him

We needed LT more and they are rare. You can't develop any QB or team without protection and blocking. Levis has potential but Latham is a proven starter for years. And he was the 2nd LT taken. We also moved up to get Levis.

Levis has no potential and we didn’t draft Latham over Levis we drafted LG Skoronski
