This Preds team may be for real. Pre-game meetup Friday, anyone?

Oh Yeah...wtf is Tootoo doing not in the lineup???!!! This is his time of year and his brand of hockey....most teams would give their left nut to have him out there on their 4th line. Man Trotz is great but i just don't get that.

He fell way off down the stretch. Maybe one point in the last 7-8 regular season games. They activated him for one of the games at Detroit and he immediately came in and drew a penalty for cross checking somebody in the back that grabbed his stick. He plays with too much emotion sometimes. Gaustad, Bourque and ARad are getting his ice time.

Wish you guys the best. Once it was all over for my nucks I told my friends I was defecting to Nashville lol.

I really thought they would pull out a win last night but Quick shut 'em down. The Kings are dangerous.

I love Trotz but it's a mistake. Tootoo has been huge in these moments ever since he was a junior playing for Team Canada. When it;s war you need Tootoo out there. They played a finesse team in the first round and if things ever get ugly out there, and they will, he'll be asking himself why he put Toottoo on the bench again.

To think playing Tootoo 6-8 minutes a game on the 4th line is going to hurt you is crazy. Is he going to put ARAD on the bench when he takes a bad penalty?

man I hope the Leafs go after him this off season, our bottom 6 sucks and is soft as butter and i'd give my left nut to have that guy be a 4th line winger for us.

He's not a happy camper right now. They interviewed him last week and every other word was an expletive. But I remember before the playoffs started that Trotz said Toots needed to work on the little things in his game and that he had lost his attention to detail. We may see more of him when the play the Coyotes. He's a top 5 fan fav in Nashville.

Pekka Rinne named a finalist for the Vezina Trophy for the second consecutive year.

I have a feeling if we can advance to the WC final, this year he'll get the trophy. Poile should be the front runner too. Now all we need is Trotzy to get nominated. It'd be awesome to get "the sweep".

I believe the voting for the Vezina ended at the end of the regular season and they're just waiting to announce it in Vegas. Lundquist and Quick are also deserving, but my bias pulls for Rinne. Also, I agree about Poile. Letting go of some solid names and relying on youth to develop during the season, then swinging for the fences near the trade deadline - looked like a gamble all year but as the season ended we see it was a really smart move

I guess that makes sense since it should be judged by the regular season performance since everyone doesn't make the playoffs, but considering the Preds success in an ultra tough division, Pekka gets my vote!
