Oiler FANatic
And it looks like he will be going to my favorite association football (aka soccer) team, Manchester City. reo
Oiler FANatic
Sounds like he is staying in Barcelona after all, oh well. It would have been unfair to everyone else if Manchester City got him anyway.
reo
Probably means he'll just leave next year. I think his contract is up.

Whatever happens in 2021, if he decides to go to the Premier League it better be with Manchester City. Their season starts in a few days even though 16 teams already played their first match this week. Maybe they will still sign a top defender to help them out at centre-back. Oiler FANatic
And now that Pep Guardiola has signed a 2-year extension the chances of Messi joining Manchester City next year are even better. reo

Crazy to say it but Man city actually need him. Gabriel Jesus is nice and Debruyne still makes some sublime passes but they're missing that extra bit of talent on the ball that Messi brings. They really haven't been the same since losing Sergio Aguero's finishing.

His contract ends next summer just like Messi. Hopefully he can manage to get and stay healthy, then they can re-sign him and bring in Messi as well. That would be awesome.
