the guys crossed off the list are guys who had been caught before... but not all of the times were when they were caught. some were after they had been caught and under more scrutiny.

 

regardless, he's a freak and should have a word record that .1 sec faster than his current one. the celebration at the end of the run in the olympics slowed him down and he said he felt a bit of a stumble early. 

 

im sure he's doping as well.

I think what people miss is Bolt can be the best/most physically gifted sprinter and still be doping.

 

If Bolt isn't doping and is setting these records and beating all these dopers then he's from the planet Krypton and gets his power from the Earth's sun

Of course he can be both, but it seems unlikely he'd have gotten away with it this long. Jamaica has invested in their program but to the extent they can out dope the USA? With others already caught? It's 50/50 at best. I guess future sample testing will tell.

 

If he's doping he's still clearly the best, if he's not then I don't agree he's impossibly better - it'd be within the realm of possibility. It's still just a few hundredths of a second.

Your making the same arguments people made for Armstrong and Carl Lewis(who basically did get away with it).

 

Jamica has one of the worst programs and standards for doping. There is no way Bolt could dominate against people doping and be clean, the shit works.

I don't think those cases means anything here, and are not my argument - they're both from the USA, the world's most advanced sporting (and doping) program. Surely WADA is at play for Bolt? the fact a near 3rd world nation could out maneuver WADA for over a decade seems fanciful, and seems equally as unlikely, hence 50/50.

It's hard to pick between being clean and this much better than dopers, or Jamaica evading detection for an athlete's entire career in the #1 spot with the world's greatest athletic powers out to prove them wrong, while the USA gets pinged across generations systematically. 50/50 is a figure of speech - both seem 99% unlikely and both can't be. A paradox of sorts.
