OILERMAN
I don't hate my money team but I'm not optimistic either.
Jamalisms
Both of my money leagues I played it slow on QBs, targeting value like Rivers... and in both I missed out due to a backup QB run. Ended up with solid depth at other positions but Alex Smith and Mariota as my QBs.
OILERMAN
but Alex Smith and Mariota as my QBs. Pretty much waiver wire quality... or a 16 team league!
Jamalisms
12 teams but... yeah. Once Rivers was gone there was little differentiation and I just waited until the last few rounds to take QBs. Picked two guys who I think have some upside this year. I may be biased based on our preseason game but I'm high on Maclin this year and that will benefit Smith... and I decided Mariota was the QB most likely to break it and be crazy good. May not happen but his efficiency gave me odds I like more than others. Dalton is a FA in both leagues...

I think the Titans will try what they did with Locker to start the 2013 season, not because they think he sucks like they thought about Locker, because he's a rookie behind a shaky OL
Jamalisms
Yeah, starting Smith early. Hoping Mariota comes alive as the season goes.
