MamlngEnvy
I still like it, I feel a lot better about my team with Forte than without obviously... If I look at that trade in a vacuum, I still think I would do it again. I don't see how it could be considered a bad trade at all
SleepingTitan
Essentially you traded Ellington for Lacy. There should be waiver pickups better than Ertz who's getting hammered by timeshare with Celek. I'd prefer Ellington. He's done about as good as Lacy while being hurt. He looks healthy as a fucking horse now. 2 thumbs down
SleepingTitan
You basically just lost a good WR.

I like Lacy's upside much more than the consistency of Ellington. Maclin wasn't a big deal to me since he was my 4th receiver at the time.
SleepingTitan
I put rb or wr in the backseat for most of my leagues so I'm struggling in those areas but winning overall. In my only league that I didn't go after qb/te in first 3 rounds, I'm doing the worst. Most of my leagues have top 5 qb & JG or JT as TE. When my te puts up 20 & my qb puts up 30, I could give 2 shits what my rb2 or wr2 does...

I haven't checked the leagues I went QB/TE in, but I know one of them had a losing record and it was a 12-team league.
wiscotitansfan
The leagues I am doing best in are where I went TE or WR heavy and have targeted cutler/rovers/romo on every league I didn't take a QB high and got 2 of the 3. I have had great drafts and have luckily traded for 1st rd RBs which IMO I got for pennies on the dollar. (I'll take 4th-9th rd picks for a top 5 drafted RB anyday) I think TE is the easiest position to pickup after you trade a stud away
wiscotitansfan
My argument to that is I can get 60 minimum from dez, Megatron, lacy and forte while the difference between a 10th and 12th rd QB (if you pick correctly, which I have cutler in damn near every league) is minimal and a combo of Cameron and kelce at TE is adequate given the rest of my team

Are these money leagues? If so, I'd like to join. Megatron, Forte & Lacy are 1st round in ALL of my 12 team leagues.
wiscotitansfan
I had no clue what I was getting at, I was a little drunk and just got annoyed at how adamant you are about taking a big 3 QB while you can still easily get top 5 QBs if you draft a couple around the 10th rd. Even if I went QB high instead of Megatron I would have still made the exact same trades I made haha.
abenjami
How many of the 12 teams do you own? 8? 9?
