CMJ
Speaking of late vet-signings, Steve Slaton HOU RB may be available. Texans may waive him soon.
SuperFreak90
Curtis has totaled 253 catches for over 3200 yards and 20TDs on 81 career games.
CMJ
jwyattsports Jim Wyatt If the #Titans like what they see in Curtis, of course, it could cost someone like Justin Gage or Lavelle Hawkins a roster spot. 13 minutes ago If Gage beats out Hawkins, the man is just bullet-proof. Cyrus
Several board members wanted to draft him the year the Titans took Calico. He's got tremendous hands and ran in the 4.3s at one time. Been injured or sick recently as I recall. Don't know how much he has left. Titans missed the boat this off season on a vet WR. Should have signed Lee Evans, IMO. Signed Lee Evans? He was traded to the Ravens for a 4th round pick which is quite a bit for a 30 yr old receiver. He dealt with testicular cancer last year (which explains his non-production with the Chiefs). He's had several injuries before that. But a 33 year old receiver coming back from cancer, really? Speaking of late vet-signings, Steve Slaton HOU RB may be available. Texans may waive him soon. I was thinking of this too, but I don't think Slaton would want to be a "rental" player. Ringer/Harper will both be competing for snaps and neither will be cut at this point. Ryan Grant is supposedly on thin ice in Green Bay. (Supposedly they guaranteed his $2.5M when they cut his salary. He'll stay) Hard to think of a better opportunity for Slaton than playing with the Packers. Either way, I imagine there's better places to go. fuckthisshit
Jim Wyatt just said on twitter that Justin Gage is in real danger of being cut. jwyattsports Jim Wyatt IF the #Titans like what they see in Curtis, of course, it COULD cost someone like Justin Gage or Lavelle Hawkins a roster spot. CMJ
Deciding factor for Gage, imo, will be his salary. They may ask Gage to take a paycut. If he agrees, he stays. If he does not, he'll be released.
terradawg
Peace out Gage! No reason to sign Curtis unless we are trimming some of the more expensive fat off the roster. More money for CJ?
Cyrus
It is worth noting that Curtis didn't play in the NFL until he was 25 (Mormon mission) and didn't start until he's 26. So he may actually have some tread left after all.
CMJ
Peace out Gage! Wyatt said it could come down to Hawk or Gage. I really hope its a dollars and cents decision, so Gage can finally be sent to the scrap-heap. No way he is worth 3M.

Nash
Several possibilities to consider: 1. Curtis is recovering and can be a decent 5 or 6 receiver 2. Clearing cap space for cj 3. Has another receiver locked up the 4 th spot.I.e. Hawkins or Mariani

Obsidian
120% a camp body. 1 catch for 6 yards last season. There's absolutely no way this guy sticks on the roster. If Gauge can make the roster.................
Cyrus
4. Britt suspension is certain. I hope that isn't the case. Possible but I would think the team would disclose that. Also, hard to see his suspension being more than 1-2 games. Would they feel that uncomfortable with Mariani or Hawkins starting in the slot for 1-2 games? Dont know. ctm
Curtis is also extremely smart. He scored a 48 on the wonderlic, one of the all time high scores.
