Bobo
Except this is where the logic breaks down. These two types of misses are completely different and are way too often connected. The fact that his footwork gets messy under pressure- leading to throw high is a completely different issue hitting a deep timing route. The second may be an issue. I am fine if you want to make that argument, but the two shouldn't be connected. They are logically different issues. Do you think most of the high throw issues or maybe just accuracy issues all together are usually based around pressure situations with Jake? And I guess I should throw in times where he has bad pocket awareness and thought there was pressure when there was not.

Jamalisms
Wait, so why were they incomplete then? For a variety of reasons, including the QB badly missing, as in all things. The good news is that someone somewhere said he made good throws sometimes.
Oilertattoo
That article is pretty spot on, but probably too critical for most around here. I agree 100%. The question for most is not "does Jake have the ability to play at an NFL level?" The question really is "does Jake have the ability to play at an NFL level CONSISTENTLY?" You can't look great 50% of the time and that is what has been frustrating about Jake. He can make a great play followed by an overthrow. If he makes a bad throw, well then who cares if he made the correct read. Being smart and using his legs at the right times will allow Jake to get the "in game" reps he needs to develop. Having big tall receivers and a TE that can bail him out helps too. We all know he has talent. The Titans just need consistency out of him moving forward. I am pulling for him to do it. It doesn't mean he will.
nine
Seems like an accurate and objective assessment of Locker's performance. Jake played well on Sunday. He had a few missed opportunities and still has plenty of room for improvement....but if he can perform at that level on a consistent basis, then the team will win more games than they lose. The question now is whether he can perform at that level (or better) on a consistent basis. And only Jake can answer that question.
