Nobody wanted to do anything in Syria, not even threaten an attack. He just looked stupid, the whole country was against any violence in Syria, and you know what else stings? Hes sending weapons to the rebels, who have ties to Al Qaeda. Then add NSA, Benghazi and Fast and Furious his image across the world is a joke right now.

He didn't attack Syria and the threat of an air strike had the desired effect in the end. It didn't prevent the last big attack, but it should prevent future attacks now that Assad knows that there is a real chance of punishment. If Dubya had let it go there in 2003 and stopped at the point of forcing Saddam to allow in UN weapons inspectors and not actually attacked, he would have been cheered even by people on the left.

As for the rest, the NSA's issues are hardly new to Obama and the country is divided on it. Benghazi was no more his fault than 9/11 was Bush'. And he wasn't even involved in Fast and Furious. Obama has had plenty of mistakes, but he isn't to blame for everything bad that happens in the world.

Its 2013 not 2003 anymore. Nobody wants to go to war or even threaten one. And nobody is split about the NSA, everyone is against it, theres even a hunting season to shoot down drones in Colarodo. Benghazi was handled poorly, we've heard that the embassey needed extra assistance before the attacks, then during the attacks Obama went to bed so he can make a decision in the morning, then he blamed an anti-muslim video first thing but that didnt have an effect on the attacks. Fast and Furious was a stupid idea, lets lose millions of dollars in assault weapons to drug cartels in Mexico then have nothing to show for it, its just swept under the rug. Obama shouldnt be blamed for what happens in the world but he should be held accountable in the U.S. and his awesome 40% approval rating shows the lack of trust hes getting right now.

Its policy to sleep on it? To blame something that wasnt the case? Did the NSA prevent the DC shooting the other day? who probably signed off on Fast and Furious? Or giving arms to known terrorists? So what does the president do? And what has he done to improve anything?

The fact that you can't make an argument without juvenile personal attacks only serves to undercut you. It's not as if anything someone like you says can be taken seriously enough to bother me.

How many wars have been started by Democratic presidents that I am supposed to object to? I have no problem with Kosovo. You want me to go back to Vietnam? Sure I disagree with that one.

I was for Bush invading Afghanistan, too. I guess that makes me biased in favor of Dubya...

I definitely admit to personal attacks on you and reo. Because it is just so funny to read posts from people without basic history knowledge that it is hard to believe that you are not mentally disabled.

How many wars started by Democratic President? You've missed Bay of Pigs, Invasion of Dominican Republic, Haiti, Bosnia, bombings of Iraq and Sudan, Lybia, and a few others.

And that is only since 1960.

That's fine b/c it's quite entertaining for me to see someone not get that the actual point as you continually show that you do not. It's a general theme w/ a lot of your posts. You pick some irrelevant side note to focus on instead of the actual point of the post. It's why so many threads that you join in on get derailed. I actually knew the date Hitler started killing Jews before posting the example and posted it anyway b/c it didn't really matter. It didn't need to be a 1:1 comparison.

reo, are you still unaware that by comparing Assad to Hitler you've simply repeated Kerry's gaffe that was mocked all over the Internet?

ALTitan do you still think Assad had anything to do w/ the comment?

As per usual, you miss the point.
