N/A
I made you good draft pick swap offer a month ago on this message system, and then again officially yesterday-Sunday through Fleaflicker but Courage accepted a similar offer real quick, so I had to cancel the offer to you. You have no WR and it is PPR. I'll give you one of Dez Bryant or AJ Green straight up with no picks for one of Doug Martin or Trent Richardson. That way you can have a top 5 WR and a top 5 RB. Otherwise considering the WRs that are kept and when you draft, you will probably only get a tier 2 or tier 3 WR as your #1WR. I think it would be a better hedge in a PPR league for you to get a top 5 WR in my offer...otherwise at bottom of 1st, after keepers, you will probably be looking at Marcus Colston at best and it seems 2013 RBs, in PPR, are deeper than WRs are, so it improves your team I think if you do it. N/A
Ill say it's after. Yes per the current draft order http://www.fleaflicker.com/nfl/draft-board?leagueId=130522 all the teams that have set 2 keepers finish round 13. Two teams have not set keepers, and those team get picks in round 14 and 15 while no other teams do. To confirm, I removed my keepers and the draft gave me picks in the last rounds, then I added my keepers back, and those extra picks were taken away. Hopefully those teams set their keepers, and all teams set correct ones or it will hurt those teams badly.
Jamalisms
Not remotely interested in another player, but thanks. I do recall you PMing me back in May or so but FF wasn't in my mind. I may have missed out but that's life and I'm not even certain that I prefer the extra early pick over flooding the market with my own guys. Currage accepted your offer within about minutes. I didn't even get the email before I got the cancelled notice. Based on those rules, @NashvilleNinja, anyone who hasn't set keepers by Friday should get booted and replaced. On another note, Megatron didn't even average as a top 15 scorer in this league. PPR or not... WRs are dorked Acavia.
N/A
On another note, Megatron didn't even average as a top 15 scorer in this league. PPR or not... WRs are dorked Acavia. Is not meaningful to compare a RB vs WR or against all positions as you do above. It is the difference between players of the same group that is important - because since you must start those positions, that differential between players is what you gain. And if you compare WRs to WRs and RBs to RBs, you can easily see that WRs have a steeper fall off in points than RBs do. You can eyeball the the points per game of both from last year and see it easily. The RBs average points per game uniformly and smoothly flow down. While the WRs take chunks out from player to player after the top 5 to 10. Eyeballing it, I am too lazy to run the numbers, I would guess the average drop off from RB to RB is about .2 to .3 points from rank to rank of RBs. Where as WR the difference in points per game from WR to WR is probably around .5 points. Run the math if like, it is what it is, but eyeballing it, it while be a larger drop off in WRs. That means the WR you can get in 1st or 2nd will probably score about 2 or 3 points less per game than the ones I am offering you, whereas the RB you could get with those same picks will probably score only 1 to 2 points less per game than the RBs you are keeping. So the trade would be gaining 1 to 2 points per game for you. Also, like RBs in general, the top WRs are going to be more consistent in their week to week output than lower ranked WRs. That streakly inconsistency of the non top 5 or so WR probably increase faster among WR than it does among RBs, amplifying the top WR difference over lower ranked ones even more. Jamalisms
You take that strategy. I'll take the one that won me the league and netted all these RBs.
N/A
You take that strategy. I'll take the one that won me the league and netted all these RBs. The numbers are what the numbers are. Go figure the standard deviations of top 30 WRs to WRs and for the top 30 RBs to RBs. The latter is going to probably be twice as large. Note: looking at how much WRs drop off, I rescind my offer. Jamalisms
see counter counter offer.. My second is better in a snake draft. If not a swap of firsts, third is the next round you have that's better... which isn't really appealing at all. I'm open to other ideas but that's not gonna do it. N/A
We agreed on that trade months ago. I guess it's a good thing I accepted when I did. I sent that offer, via Fleaflicker, after we agreed, but you never accepted. After a week, I figured you were no longer interested and since around that time, I had lost my old Titans Report account (which is still lost to me), I could noi to check with you here. I then canceled the offer on the Fleaflicker system because I did not want it sitting in limbo in case I worked another trade (I was using the different round 2 picks I had in different trade offers, so two trades could have been accepted theoretically.) I offered it again, as well as a similar trade to Jamalisms, last Sunday on the off chance you did still want to do it, which you did. I like the trade, and I am glad we did it.
