titanskick8851
As I said in the other forum, I would be down to play as long as its a free league.

Guest
its only 10 bucks and you can win it back if you win the season.. No offense but why play for 10 bucks? That's not even worth it.
Dmeade-
Im not being pessimistic, but I just signed up and I doubt we will be able to get 20 team owners...
Dmeade-
No offense but why play for 10 bucks? That's not even worth it. If you win you X10 your initial investment. Or if we get 20 players that X20. How is that not a good investment?

Dmeade-
Its simple. If you don't want to ante up the 10 bucks then simply don't join the league. It makes it a little funnier with a little risk/reward involved, even though it's just 10 bucks.

My point is you have a tone of people who will play for free and you are going to exclude them for a 10 dollar buyin? That's comical. Also, I play in a couple big money leagues so the buyin isn't the issue for me.
Dmeade-
What tone? Right now the majority of people who have been involved in the thread want a 10 dollar buy-in.

Right now the majority of people who have been involved in the thread want a 10 dollar buy-in. tis true.. im not sure how the pot could work though... idk if i can award the prize through nfl.com based off of inital fees paid from joining the league, or if we would need to go through some other source,.... im not against playing for free.. i just like to add some meaning to a season of fantasy football other than just winning. Cyrus
If you win you X10 your initial investment. Or if we get 20 players that X20. How is that not a good investment? The thought that gambling/betting could possibly be considered a good investment is frightening.

PayPal would be the ideal source. Everyone can send their 10 dollars to your paypal and at the end of the season you send the lump sum to the winner.
