Game Watching Dilemna

I went to a bar in McNair's rookie year and watched his 2nd ever start against the Bills in Ft. Worth. The rule was if you were first you could watch the game you wanted. Well only certain TVs could show certain games. The Titans Bills game had no playoff implications at all and it was the last game of the season. The 9ers/Falcons game was finishing up and the Falcons took the lead, the reason this was big is because if the 9ers lost the Cowboys would get homefield advantage. All of the sudden a group of Cowboy fans started telling the owner to turn it on the 9er game. He looks at his guide and says it's on the TV the Oiler fan is watching and he was here first. This mob starts forming asking/demanding me to turn it to the 9ers game. Some of these guys were drunk and pissed, the owner says it's up to him. I said no thanks I'm watching the Oiler game. A few guys start yelling and the owner tells them to shut up or leave. I sit there and watched the meaningless game all the way until the end and left. The owner told laughed and and said "come back any time you crazy kid"

I don't know where you live, but around my way nobody gives a shit about the Titans so I can watch the games in (relative) peace, even if the place is packed.

You're right, no one where I live cares about the Titans.

I still don't want to hear the obnoxious fans of other teams, even in games not involving the Titans.

It's a lot more enjoyable for me to be able to curse at the TV and throw things rather than have to keep silent when the Titans are playing like shit.
