Guest
So have we started an official Lakers' death-watch yet? Dude, I started one of those when David Stern "Vince McMahon-ed" the CP3 trade. I think when bringing back D'Antoni of Jackson they underestimated how much Jackson brought to the table as an expert personality manager, which on a team that features a hyper competitive bastard who also happens to be one of the greatest players of all time you really need that. I think LA's bench troubles are exasperated by the fact that Kobe is so demanding and so tough on his teammates that they tend to under perform a bit. And Lebron absolutely dominated that game last night. Kobe had a shit game until the fourth while Bron looked unstoppable. His assist to turn over ration alone dwarfed Bryant's even if you forget everything else. The box score looked like something you might see playing 2K13, with James and Wade doing most of the work for the Heat. There's been a lot of talk about Miami's lethargy, but I think whoever they face in the first round will be all they need to warm up to the post season. And they might play some postseason games in LA. They would just be trying to think about how to deal with CP3 and Blake Griffin. Lebron at PG again, anyone? Faceless
The biggest concerns for the Heat are Wade and Bosh. Wade has looked really old in quite a few games this year. Then he'll have a game like last night. Maybe he's just saving it all up for the post-season, who knows. Bosh is Charmin-soft and really has been since he entered the league. I can easily see Lebron leaving Miami for his next contract ... maybe he'll go back to Cleveland since they have some nice pieces now.

Bosh gets knocked for being, as Ghostface Killah would say, straight baby thighs but I think he contributes more than people realize, especially playing out of position. The rest of the bench needs to step up a bit, but it isn't nearly as bad as LAs. I agree about Wade though, and his game is getting a bit predictable. Kyrie would be a better running mate for Lebron. It's a shame they couldn't field a decent supporting cast for him while he was in Cleveland. The fact that he got the Cleveland team he did to the NBA Finals was more of an achievement than winning a Finals itself. I think Boobie Gibson might have been the second best player on that team. That's ridiculous. I'm not sure what kind of reaction he'd get for returning though, that could get ugly. Maybe LA punts on Kobe and he teams up with Dwight? And can you imagine if he had signed with Chicago, who is this good WITHOUT D-Rose. Yikes.

The Super Gasol brothers on a team would be awesome to watch. Just get Rubio somehow and the Grizz could make mad Euros.

Faceless
Lakers made the Raptors look like an actual NBA team. The free fall continues.

Guest
Also, the Heat have signed Birdman to a ten-day contract. It's bullshit they waited until after they played the Lakers. Any excuse to have him and MWP on the court at the same time.
Faceless
Both LA teams dropping games. Warrior-Clips game was epic. Lakers look pretty well done.
Guest
And Rondo is done. Can't have happened to a nicer guy. This may push them in on a guy like Lowry, if they can swing it. I just added Avery Bradley to my fantasy squad, ditching Wilson Chandler who I just Kawai Leonard for. Also, read a rumor today the Grizz might be in on Paul Pierce if the Celtics start a fire sale. Really interesting--not sure they'd do it.
