Sounds like a plan to me

I'm off Thursday night.. You never know I may catch a buzz and grab Vince Young in the first round.. :)

Make sure you grab Kevin Kolb to be his backup.

I'll go ahead and schedule it. If anybody has a problem with it... well they can just kiss my ass. B)

Did you find someone for my spot? If not, can we change the scoring system to something basic? PPR is okay but fractional points for targets, long TD bonuses and stuff like that takes away from the game in my opinion.

Yeah... I was on the fence about that stuff anyway. I was just wanting to have something a little different from the standard scoring.

I'm modifying it right now to take away all the fractional stuff. I do want to know what you think about "points for rushing attempts". I want to reward teams with RB's who get fed the ball, but it obviously can't be 1 point for every rush attempt. That would be absolutely retarded. But what do you think of 1 point for every 5 rushing attempts? That's almost on par with PPR. Just an idea. Also, what do you think about the defensive scoring? Should there be points, either positive or negative, for yards allowed?

Take a look at it now and see what you think.

RB rushing attempts .2 per rush seems good - call it the Eddie George scoring system. I like the idea of points per yardage allowed better than points allowed - seems more defense oriented but both are good too.

I looked over them - thanks. They look good although word of caution. I think things like "Every 10 rushing yards (RY10) 1" would mean that if a someone rushed for 99 yards you would only get 9 points for that. I think the norm now is to do it per yard like 0.1 point, so in case of 99 yards you would get 9.9. Also that prevents tie scores pretty good.

And I know that means back to the fractional points but above I was really voicing an opinion against the extra conditions (targets, long TD - more fluke like stuff and stuff that even NFL statistics correct days or a week after games like targets) not the fractional points per se. Anyway, I can live with the 10 rushing yards or 20 passing yards for 1 point, I just want to point out how that likely translates into fantasy scores in case you/others do not want that outcome.

6:45 CST would be 4:45 PST, right?

Yeah. I'm not off until 6:30pm PST, but my work computer allows it. So I'm good. Even if i can't be there the computer will choose my shit.

Should I maybe move up the time?

*as the voices return, once more: you must move to Nashville... the force is strong with that town*

Hahaha....no no no.

Leave it. I can do it from work. I did a mock draft and it was fine.
