It’s honestly a fun movie. The problem was the budget, not the movie itself. The big floating set sank in a storm. Twice.

Since we are talking about 90s Kevin Costner films, Revenge isn't a bad one. Costner is an anti hero though, kind of a jerk actually.

OT but Clint’s new film (supposedly his last film) looks pretty good.

 

And 38 million is nothing.  Coppola’s latest film he dumped 120 million of his own money into that and it’s pretty much a bomb.  I’ll have to see if that 120 million is correct because that is far worse than whatever Costner did.

Supposedly 400 million.  He invested in hotels and something else , maybe wine.  
 

The filmmaking sounds like a side gig at this point. 
 

These guys are trying to make one last film before they die.  All those guys from the 70s-90s are getting too old.  The future of cinema is bleak at least in the US.
