big2033
He had that one phenomenal year back in '04 with 31 TD's and 8 INT's with a QB rating close to 105. Unfortunately, that was the season Peyton had 49 TD's and a QB rating of 121. I have to agree with BK, Rush was right about him. That he got a pass because he's black? How did he get a pass when in the same forum weren't talking about how much heat he took. Man, subjects like this make me happy not to live in America. scine09
Here's the thing about McNabb and how good he was or wasn't. Imagine that the game is on the line and Donovan McNabb, in his prime has the ball, down 4 with a minute to go, 2 TO's and 80 yards for a score. Do you have fear that McNabb is going to get the job done or do you think that the Eagles will ultimately lose the game? To me he's not a guy that scares me in that situation. An elite QB or even a very good QB would give me fear in that situation. The elite QB's today, Brady, Brees, Rodgers, both Mannings, Roethlisberger, all of those guys put fear into defenses. I don't think McNabb, even at his peak, ever put a real fear into the defense.
SleepingTitan
McNabb had me at hell no. He's a douche. He should've hung up the pads when Reid let him go.
SleepingTitan
Tebow is the most publicized scrub in the history of the NFL. The guy completed 47% of his passes last year and was sent packing by the Bronco's. He's getting huge pressers to be introduced as the back-up QB/Wild cat QB for the Jets. Bayless crying about Tebow getting treated unfairly is laughable. If Tebow was a normal QB he would have been cut a few weeks into training camp last year and never heard from again And...this is why our gov't is made of mostly protestants. The majority is so consuming, it's laughable that we point the finger at middle eastern religious gov'ts. Baptists, Methodists, and the Church of Christ hold all the power. Reason? Above all else, that's what "we" want, even if it's detrimental.

SleepingTitan
I would rather have Ryan Leaf go over film with Locker in the team trainer's office than have McNabb within five feet of him. Yeah, I can see McNabb teaching a rookie. "Look here. You gotta watch out. Watch your back. You think the fans love you? Hell, no they don't. The coach doesn't like you. If a WR complains about looks, fuck him. Dump it to the RB. Dump it to the RB. Remember, if you lose a game, it ain't your fault. You're only one man out there. If the 12th man boo's you, that's not your fault. Complain about the o-line. Complain that the soup wasn't chunky enough. If all else fails, momma's gonna be there for ya. Only her opinion matters anyway. You're a star. You're the greatest. You're the most underratedest."

Man, subjects like this make me happy not to live in America. There are far more important reasons to be happy not living in America. The US being an imperialist plutocracy is reason enough.
