I was not at the SB. I was at the stadium though when we beat the jags and fans went down there to celebrate going to the SB. We had friends that gave us tickets for several home games in 99 and we bought PSLs in 2000.

So you weren't at any of the games you were just ranting about. You were at an AFC championship game where McNair balled out. Got it.

I think it would have been a far better scenario. Lienart would have had a warm reception with his USC ties. Fisher really wanted him, and was resentful he was saddled with VY. It was a failed marriage from the beginning. I think professionally he gave VY a chance, but lost interest in him pretty fast when he saw the limitations.

This is an admittance that VY was screwed from the beginning, something I originally pointed out.

Bullshit. The turn around was keyed by defense. VY contributed but he was not the catalyst. I cant fathom how anyone can defend VY at this point.

What exactly changed with the defense after that game? The only change that was made was that Bud Adams forced VY to start. Sure the defense improved a little because the offense started doing it job. They still finished 28th in the league. The Titans averaged 14pts/game without VY. The offense improved to 27pts/game after his return. If there was a change made on defense, then you would have an argument. There wasn't. Stop reinventing history. We all know VY didn't pan out. Its okay to still credit him for the things he did do.

GOAT9 has to be one of the old VY nutswingers right?  Renamed?  Next thing he'll be telling us is that VY didn't miss planes, didn't choose to go back to Austin for shirtless parties instead of working on his game or that he didn't threaten to kill himself!

Obviously by the 9 im a McNair fan dumbass. Im just not so stupid and full of myself to ignore the contributions a player did ,despite him being an overall failure by the end of his career.

He was screwed at birth with a lack of brains and talent. You never saw him try to pass?....lol

He lacked talent? He was one of the most physically gifted QBs ever. He didn't have the smarts or maturity to use his talents, and was combined with a coach that was throwing a fit he didn't get his USC guy. The people on these boards are outright crazy. Are you on the other boards over exaggerating todays loss yet? Im sure you are screaming something stupid.
