Miami roster is absolutely trash outside of Jones and few others.

Ok. I'll give you unknown since there's going to be a lot of new starters but I'm not going to give you trash. The only "trash" position on the team is maybe DT because we don't have an established player there. Outside of that, TE and LB are our weakest units and Gase believes he has the next big thing at TE. We'll see Sunday.

Wake is old, Quinn hasn't been the same in years, Alonso can't stay on a team. The offense outside of Drake is bad and Tannehill hasn't taken a meaningful snap in 18 months. The Dolphins are bad and while week 1 is a total crap shoot there is no doubt the Titans should win if they don't play like shit.

Wake is old yet has not lost a step. Leads the league in sacks since he joined the Dolphins in 09'. Quinn has looked great in pre-season and was playing out of position with the Rams; they had him as a 3-4 OLB and now will play as a natural 4-3 DE in our wide-9.  The offense I'll also partially give you since its going to be strictly scheme-driven. Its built moreso for match-up problems more than trotting out the best receivers. I'll one up you though--Delanie Walker and Rishard Matthews were your leading receivers when Mariota had his career year.

I'm honestly not concerned about Tannehill, we've seen QBs in the past come right back after an injury. I'll remember your post nonetheless.

We usually split with them. Of the 43 wins we've had under Tannehill, 29 have not been the Bills or Jets. If I'm not mistaken, the Bills, Jets, and Dolphins have the best out of division record of the last 10 years. Nice try though.

There's absolutely no way that's correct.  I'd venture to guess that the 3 are among the worst in the league out of division.

I literally just ran the numbers and posted how we are 1 worse btw, but the Titans have had a 2 and 3 win season so that's not a shock.

It's pretty easy to figure out.  Just take their division numbers away from their record.  I bet Miami is below .500 in the past 10 years out of division.

Of course it's easy, show me a list though that has those numbers without having to scroll through each year in a pull down menu that is time consuming like I just had to do... Damn near everything is easy, just depends on if it's worth the time

PS - They're .460 outta division, I just never bothered to see what other teams are besides Titans who are .450

Yeah, about what I expected.  He seems like an informed guy, he must have meant something else when he posted that.

I also could be very wrong too lol.

I did it all just adding up these numbers in my head when I originally saw what they were since drafting Tanehill because let's be real, 10 years is just an arbitrary number that means nothing.

Then once I found that out I decided to check the Titans in that time then go back another 4 years adding the differences in division wins compared to total wins for each team in my head. I would almost be most surprised if those two numbers were 100% accurate.

It's going to be close enough.  Regardless, the Dolphins don't have the best or close to the best out of division record from 2008-2017.  They've made the playoffs twice lol.  Same as the Titans.  And I believe they were under or at .500 the other 8 seasons.

Ok I see what you guys are talking about. I was speaking for the Bills, Jets, and Dolphins and not just Miami. There was an article about how easy Brady and Manning had it during the primes and someone did some research and found out while NE has ran the AFC East, the other three teams fared the best out of the division.

That was in repsone to the guy saying that we have won 6+ games because we face the Bills and Jets twice.
