ctm
I'm not sure that if you pick a WR in the 2nd or 3rd that you end up with someone better than D. Williams or N. Washington. Titans need an immediate upgrade.
Cyrus
I'm not sure that if you pick a WR in the 2nd or 3rd that you end up with someone better than D. Williams or N. Washington. Titans need an immediate upgrade. There's lots of great receivers who were taken in the second round. I think it's a safe place to pick guys if need be. Generally speaking though I think you really need to target guys early. Yeah, I'd consider Floyd of course. But I'd rather go OL If DeCastro or Floyd were available at our pick, it'd be DeCastro all day for me. I think I would too. Then I would hope for Fuller to drop or trade up in the second to take him. (if not take Toon)
JLocker10
I'm not sure that if you pick a WR in the 2nd or 3rd that you end up with someone better than D. Williams or N. Washington. Titans need an immediate upgrade. Mike Wallace? Jordy Nelson? Greg Jennings? Steve Smith (USC)? Sidney Rice? Anquan Boldin? Desean Jackson? Vincent Jackson? I get what you're saying, but OL to me is the bigger priority. OL first, then WR You build up front JMO
JLocker10
BTW, on a side note It's looking like a pretty smart move that we drafted a QB this year How Locker does is still unknown But at least we had a chance at a QB and took it Based on what's going on this season and how many teams might take QB (SEA, WAS, DEN, KC, IND, MIA, CLE) in next year's draft, it's looking like a smart move I'm not sold on Barkley or Jones as stud QB prospects I haven't really seen much of Griffin III or Tannehill I don't like Foles
Cyrus
The Titans could be in real trouble if they're put in a position without Ball or Jones at defensive end. There's no real great defensive ends available with a first round valuation (immediate starter) only 1-2 year projects. Coples looks like a bum and others like Melvin Ingram and Cam Johnson only look viable because the class is so poor. Whitney Mercilus may be a one year wonder as well (very limited videos available on him) although he may be a riser. If the team is picking late first (24+) then Curry is probably the only guy that justifies a high pick given his immense upside. The team could be in a bad situation. titansfan
I think we go LB or WR in the 1st round, simply because the dline of this draft is pretty weak. I actually do think we go interior oline in the 3rd or 4th round (which is pretty high for us)...
Cyrus
I could see that as well TF. I think there's some solid talent at offensive guard this year including some guys with some real upside (converted tackles to guards). Personally I'm a very big fan of Te'o and think he's a day one starter, do it all MLB who can run a defense. I'm lukewarm on the OLBs for the most part as theres no real great first round values.
