Example Hockey: We know the men's team from Sweden is going to give Canada and the US quite a fight. Yet the US women's team just beat Sweden's women's team in brutal blow out fashion. Does this really make you proud? Or do you just think those other countries don't give a shit and would probably prefer their women not to be big manly hockey playing butch bitches? Soccer is the best example. Our respective nations are totally useless at it on the world stage…but not our women! Our women are the best! They can go out and spank the brazilian, italian, british…we got the best soccer playing women in the world. Again I am not really sure we should be so proud about this. I don't really think those other countries give a shit and are probably happy they don't have the big beefy aggressive women we have that kick the ball like Gus the magic donkey. BTW, from what I've seen (images and clips only) on US - Sweden women hockey match, Swedish goalie was outstanding, while the rest of the team was complete crap. I predict that we have Chinese / Russian girls are working on it as we speak. So, you have 1-man luge, 1-woman luge, 2 person luge. Great. What is the point of them competing together, as the end result is just the sum of the other 3 events. The summer olympics have so many more events and sports and there's a bunch of shit in there you could just as easily do in winter. Why is indoor basketball or volleyball a "summer" sport? I don't care what sex a USA athlete is, if they can dominate, I'm all for it. Having said that, I won't be buying a calender of photos of weightlifting women anytime soon. Russia's best game was against the US and they have been pretty underwhelming otherwise. Finland has been playing everyone pretty tough. Too bad though. Less vibe around hockey with them out of it.
