Titansfan920
Grizzlies with a well-earned win tonight. We've got to get better at free-throws though. Almost bit us in the ass again. With all the nut-hugging on Durant all night from the announcers (it was beyond annoying), it was glorious to watch him botch a dive late in the game and give up a turnover at the worst possible moment. Series tied, going to the Grindhouse. To be fair, Durant usually doesn't choke down the stretch like that. But it's pretty obvious he's missing Westbrook and the Grizzlies defense really frustrated. He still had a good night but you can live with that when you stop everyone else. Memphis played a good game and earned that win last night.
tinman
Memphis is really really good.. They got the right pieces in place.. Right now I think they are the best in the west..
Faceless
So I think it's not too much of a stretch to say that the Warriors are more talented than the Spurs, but the Spurs have them on experience, basketball smarts, and coaching. I expect a split at Oracle.

Mercalius
If our bench contributes better at home and Prince decides that he can actually score baskets instead of looking like a highschool Freshman and we get over our free-throw jitters, it'll be a huge uphill battle for OKC. Durant's going to get his, obviously, but they've played about as well as you'd expect and were arguably lucky to pull out the win in game 1. Maybe the long break will help their team gel a bit more, but it can't be too positive of an outlook heading to Memphis against a team that's played as Jekyll/Hyde as we have and still look like the favorite to win the series. Winning this series would be huge for Memphis, absolutely huge, and we'd have a legit chance to make it to the Finals as I think we match up pretty well to either the Warriors or Spurs. That being said, watching the Heat game tonight made me realize what a mountain that team is when they're remotely on. If we somehow did manage to square off against them, I think we match up better than most teams, but it's still an unfavorable matchup. We'd need to get the absolute most out of our bigs while avoiding foul trouble and take advantage of every rebound. That would likely either be a fast series on the Heats end if they catch fire, or an ugly, drawn-out, wearing your fingernails down series. Luckily for Memphis, they tend to thrive in those types of games. Anyhoo, not to put the cart ahead of the horse - we still need to take care of OKC. Titansfan920
It'd be awesome if their guys could quit putting up whole game stats in a half or even a quarter. We've gotta find some way to f'in defend them. Already ready for game 3. Gotta step it up or we'll be sitting at home once the western finals start. Guest
Kevin Martin isn't going to let his kids trick or treat next year because TA gave him PTSD.
Guest
Lebron James looked like Magic out there. Some of those passes were downright sinister. I still think Miami is going to win this series in five games.
CMJ
Warriors look young, hungry and play like they don't know any better. Spurs in trouble
Titansfan920
They're playing crazy that's for damn sure. I still can't see those shooting numbers keeping up like that though. What was Thompson last night, something like 8-9 from three? Unreal.
tinman
I hate there is no backetball tonight.. I had gotten on the rotation of 2 games a night.. I am not a huge NBA fan by any stretch but the playoffs this year have more appeal to me than most years.. Go grizzlies.. I think they got a legit shot..
