Yeah be we aren't talking about benching Gurley to spot start Matt Jones or Ryan Matthews.

We're talking about benching him to start a no-name rookie 5th round pick who literally has 12 carries to his name.

Hence me making it very clear that Gurley is the choice this week... Im just so sick of people being so damned obsessed with Gurley because he's Gurley

...And yet a no name guy did a lot better and still was nothing special.

But hey, let's continue to act like Gurley is the greatest thing in the fantasy world since LT. (Not knocking people on this board too much, only a few people are still stroking it to the thought of him on their team.... Just the fantasy community in general and their obsession with the thought that a first round pick has to still be started midway through the season weekly)

No one is acting like that.  There is certainly cause for concern about Gurley at this point in the fantasy season, especially given his remaining schedule.

?? There are A LOT of people that say you have to go down with the ship with Gurley because the high pick

Most people pass that point of view though off as "Well how stacked do your RBs have to be for that to actually be an option"

I mean no one here is saying that.  Yeah, there are people who say that elsewhere for sure.

Hahaha. Gurley should be getting far more than he did as a first rounder pick. What Howard got as a FA pick up is huge for a fantasy team.

With all the injuries and RBs like Gurley sucking ass, Howard is damn good asset right now.

But isn't the point to start what players you think will have the better game?

Howard got 5 more points than Gurley in my standard decimal scoring league.

People have lost by less than that before.

Absolutely. I agree with everything you just said.

Forget the points they scored, Howard looked good this week and it's now more clear he's going to get a lot of touches as long as Langford is out.

That being said, I'd still start Gurley over Howard most weeks.

I should have gone with my gut and played Howard, but I went with conventional wisdom. Well, that wisdom isn't all that wise.

It didn't end up hurting me because Big Ben and Bell balled out and pushed me to the win, but still. I think I'll try and trade him for a WR. Maybe I can find a sucker.
