  1. LOL. Seven years of practice...... They began in 2014 and continued right through last season on a couple of Dolphins message boards. I'll summarize the arguments from the anti-Tannehill crowd: 1. He is a converted WR that we shouldn't draft. 2. He is a converted WR that we should never have drafted. 3. He'll never be the starter. 4. He'll never be any good. 5. He'll never lead us to the playoffs. 6. He'll never lead us to the playoffs again. 7. Glad he is gone, he'll never be a starter again. 8. He'll never be any better than he was in Miami. 9. He'll come back down to earth soon. 10. He'll never lead the Titans to the playoffs. 11. He'll never win a playoff game. 12. He won't win another. 13. He won't win another. (told you so!) 14. 2019 was a fluke, he'll be back to the same old Tannehill. 15. He is only doing it because the Titans have the best RB, best OL, and best defense in the league. 16. Tannehill sucks and he is not on our team anymore so stop talking about him......
  2. I'll sign off on the Tannehill arguments for now. Suffice it to say, I think he is a very good QB. Easily top 10. I'm a fan of his from his Miami days and the pro/anti Tannehill wars that raged there for years. Now we have pro/anti Tua wars that are even worse. I admit that I am a bit jealous. Also, I like the Titans as a team. They have talent, are well coached, and are fun to watch. They won't replace my Dolphins but when the Dolphins are out of it, I'll be rooting for the Titans. Hopefully the second half on Sunday is an indication that their defensive woes are ending. Now get that OL fixed and healthy. I wish the biggest arguments on the Dolphins message board were whether the QB was top 10 or not or whether the QB or RB was the biggest factor in winning and going for a championship...... I also visited Nashville in 2019 (shortly before the Tannehill era started) and really enjoyed it. Great city. Good luck this season.
  3. Stop using screwed up logic to make an argument. Don't be mad at me because you are illogical.
  4. What PLACE are they in...... LOL. Everyone saw what Henry did for multiple seasons with an average QB at the helm. The Tannehill effect was immediate and undeniable. I'll admit that Henry is a higher ranked RB than Tannehill is a QB. That doesn't make him a more important player to the Titans. Just go back to games 1 - 6 in 2019. The truth is staring you right in the face. Look at it this way. Henry is the #1 ranked RB in the league. By your logic, he is better than every QB except one. That is complete nonsense and you should know it.
  5. Oh, I thought you were arguing that he didn't do it. What you are really arguing is that he didn't do it the right way? How to win a football argument, by titanruss: 1. Claim that a player CANNOT or DOES NOT do X, Y, or Z. 2. When he does do it, claim that anyone could have done it. 3. Go back to step 1. Nice.
  6. Okay sure...... QB marches the team down the field in under 4 minutes with the star RB on the bench. Said running back plunges in from the 1 yard line...... and he is the reason for the comeback. LOL. You've outdone yourself in stupid posts. Congrats.
  7. Of course I can tell you that. There is a FUCKING STAT kept by the NFL just for that purpose.
  8. So, 176 yards in the second half with 58 yards on the game tying drive is "next to nothing"? LOL. What a clown. Without Tannehill, they lose that game. Also, without Henry they lose that game. Not sure why that is so hard to see.
  9. Here is your "game manager" at crunch time with 4:13 to go in the game. Tannehill 6 of 6 for 58 yards. Running game 5 carries for 20 yards. For part of that drive, Henry wasn't even in the game. Everybody in the stadium knows Tannehill is going to throw. Noisy crowd. Drive starts with a holding penalty. DOES NOT MATTER. He is perfect on the drive. He has been the best in the league at those situations for the last 2 seasons. Your take on Tannehill just could not be more off base.
  10. LOL, @ the stupidity...... He had 165 yards passing in the first half and 176 in the second half. That is ELEVEN FUCKING YARDS difference due to "Henry churning". I've tried to explain this before but it just doesn't stick...... Henry's rushing ability DOES NOT make Tannehill's job easier. It just isn't supported in the data. He still makes aggressive, difficult throws. Period. He was in a lot of bad down and distance situations in the first half due to Henry churning for 1 or 2 yards a pop in the first half. Tannehill was STILL crazy efficient (110 passer rating). Henry does not make "Tannehill" more productive. Period. Henry does make the "offense" more productive. The Titans would not be as good an offense without Henry, but Tannehill would be just as good a QB.
  11. When you can point to a stretch where the pass protection and the defense AREN'T getting blown up at the same time as the running game, you'd have an argument. Until then, you've got nothing. If your whole argument is that Tannehill cannot carry the team with no pass protection, no running game, in must-pass situations, congrats captain obvious. OTOH, there are numerous examples of him tearing up defenses when given time to throw, even when the other team knows it. He leads the league in GWD and 4th quarter comebacks since joining the Titans.
  12. I didn't watch the game last week and I don't comment on games that I didn't watch. I think the more relevant question is - Why do you keep embarrassing yourself?
  13. LOL. Average yesterday? Add in those dropped passes and he ends up something like 33 of 40 for 400 yards and two TDs........
