  1. Do any of us know what staffs have even been released at this point? As I seem to remember a report that the Titans weren't going to release theirs until a new coach was hired & could determine their fate himself.
  2. Agreed...but, if they do hire him, I think we've got to feel more than a little sorry for the Titan's P/R & marketing team. Who I'm sure struggled mightily with the whole Callahan/McCoy debacle and now faces the daunting task of promoting a (possible) coaching hire that has all the excitement of an f'n toilet flush. I mean...I won't be surprised if the whole department resigns & rightfully so.
  3. Generally...owners that don't like to take risks, want to bring some idea of "prestige" to their team or to appease their fan base to put butts in seats. Any one of these or more likely all three.
  4. I would think that the Ravens might or the Raiders as well.
  5. We've known that Andy isn't in the best shape but is he saying that his "shadow" extends over the whole state lol!
  6. I thought therewas a good chance & hoped that it might coincide with their timetable. As, with all due respect to their process, the Titans should, it least, bring him in for an interview to pick his brain if nothing else.
  7. My apologies as after going back...the bit was from Merc. But what made me think it was you was his last image which is the one you created your avatar from.
  8. I think this puff piece plays into some of the concerns of the fan-base. As it seemed all too convenient in helping to rehab his image to someone who has learned from this mistakes & is tanned & ready for his next HC gig. I mean...when I saw it, I thought immediately that it was intended specifically, for Titan fans & I still do. Again, given how that it just came out of nowhere & I don't recall another assessment she's done previously.
  9. Things are moving very quickly this morning. Mike McCarthy is at the Tennessee Titans’ facilities today for an interview after having dinner with the search committee last night. According to Easton Freeze of A to Z Sports, this is actually McCarthy’s second interview with the team. Easton says they talked to him “very early on in the process.” That actually makes a lot of sense because McCarthy didn’t coach this year. The Titans could have talked to him at any point since they fired Brian Callahan back in October. https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/titans-coaching-search-mike-mccarthy-171447945.html
  10. So...dude, did calling the board a bunch of "crybabies" in some of your last posts make you paranoid or something? I mean.. didn't you "weigh in" on some of the Borgo confusion/hate with the "Call Me Maybe" bit (that I thought was funny) you did earlier in this thread. Which, if that was you...kinda makes me think you're more an inmate here (like the rest of us) rather than a warden. But if you've arrived at some higher plane of knowledge now then from your previous posts...God bless.
  11. So what would prevent them from hiring him Monday night or Tuesday morning?
  12. Maybe wait just long enough to know if Shanahan or McDermott will be retained or not.
  13. OK...but when that happens, please try not to use a bunch of CAPS or too many exclamation points. Which, really, is just a good rule of thumb for us all lol!
  14. Um...so calling them nonsense isn't shitting all over them? Like it or not...many of the conspiracy theories that have been presented (over a variety of issues & topics) have come to be & were proven true.
  15. Wouldn't it just be so Titans if they hire Nagy just days before Shanahan or McDermott become available...lol!
  16. Yeah...he could hire Garrett as his OC & him, Garrett & Fassel can reminisce about their days in Dallas lol.
  17. Well...this does give some credence to the thought they want Halfley &, perhaps, are getting desperate given the Titans interest.
  18. I think he would have been the wrong choice for the Titans & simply went somewhere that has better talent & depth. Not that he's a huge loss by any means as the knock on him, to me, was that he lacked accountability & was too quiet in the moments the Browns needed his voice.
  19. It seems that he just wants the world to know that he called it so that he's deemed more credible. Expect another if Nagy is hired as, on a recent podcast, he stated his belief that he's the favorite.
  20. Well don't laugh too hard as that might be the case with our base if Nagy is hired.
  21. The very scenario some have already suggested would be the case.
  22. I think they could well be waiting to see if McDermott is fired.
  23. Hey...all I know is that I was sitting at home, watching a game & 1 of the cheerleaders looked right at me!
