pat Posted December 30, 2017 Report Share Posted December 30, 2017 Since my wife let the 5 year old pick a Pokemon game for "me", and he subsequently annexed the Switch, I got myself Nier Automata to get some gaming in over the holiday. It is awesome. And convoluted. Finished the first playthrough. Nice blend of RPG, action, and schmup. The last 6 hours were non stop, very well done. Since I have a life and thus little chance of completing more playthroughs soon, read the spoilers. OMG there's a lot there. Highly recommended. Anyone else jump down this rabbit hole? wiscotitansfan Posted December 31, 2017 Report Share Posted December 31, 2017 I've heard only great things but can't say I necessarily want to go that deep into a game when there's a bunch of other games in my queue before it haha The heavy spoilers seem to be only really legit/intense if you actually have invested the time in that world yourself. My son plays Mario until he gets stuck, then I must drop whatever I'm doing to help. The first playthrough we did pretty much everything together. The second time he's getting a lot done on his own.
