Way back before people used AI to make all of these "what if X made Y" mashups, I would track down cover albums like this one. Industrial versions of Metallica? Got a few volumes of it. Blue Grass Metallica? Got it. Metallica played on harps? Cellos? Xylophones? Got 'em. But now? It seems like its just a matter of pressing a few buttons to see how Rhianna's "Umbrella" sounds if sung by early-90s Hetfield and with Metallica-inspired riffs (heard that one this afternoon on da Facebooks). Megadeth does a great version of the title track "No More Mr. Nice Guy." They also put out their (supposed) final album within the past week.
