"I definitely wanted to apologize for the things that I did, letting him know about the frustration, a lot of different things that was going on in my life at the time, and want him to know that I really did appreciate him trying to make me become one of those type of leaders on the team, a successful quarterback," he said. He said during his time with the Titans he was "immature and not paying attention and not listening, and taking my frustration out on a lot of people wasn't the right thing to do." He said he hopes Fisher reads his letter and forgives him. VY was trying to get back in the league when he sent that letter. "Yes, I got a letter from Vince," Fisher told Kuharsky at 104.5 The Zone's SportsFest in Tennessee, where Fisher was a featured speaker. "And I didn't respond. My name was spelled wrong on the letter, the letter came from the University of Texas, and I had no way of knowing if it was (really) from him. It came from the athletic department. titanruss Posted August 6 Report Share Posted August 6 Fisher is a snake and basically admitted he hated Vince over and over and never wanted him. He even changed his story from wanting the USC QB to wanting Cutler but like a decade later when Cutler after it was clear Jay was the better player. I wouldn't doubt if the letter was misspelled... but it's just as likely Fisher is lying about it. Why wouldn't he open the letter? Of course he opened it.
