I wouldn't count femi as a LB, especially now where that line is more distinctive.

I also wouldn't count on barton being good. He was alright down the stretch but he is going to be 30 and had some real rough spots. Hopefully saleh can work some magic there and get him back to his denver days.

If the defensive scheme will emphasize coverage ability then we don’t really have any .  Maybe Williams but he’s untested.

If it was McDaniel, why didn't he cancel his trip to the Chargers unless it is very much up in the air?

I think he said he was gonna take every interview (or almost I guess lol Browns) and wasn’t in a real rush .

Gray too. both are unknowns but one thing is clearl, Saleh knows how to scout and teach LBs

The Jeffery Simmons interview with BWB shed a lot of light in the lack of identity for this team these past years and how much the team missed Vrabel. Im glad a player and leader said it so its no longer a subject for debate here.

You guys think the team identity stuff doesnt matter and it absolutely does. Who are you when you need to grind out a win? It matters and it has to be a deliberate message.

We preached accountability because for the last 4 years we worried too much about being nice and collaborative in the organization. It didn't work out and so we are going to a coach with many of the elements we missed with Vrabel.

If you haven't seen it, go watch. Its actually more damning for Callahan and confirms what I and a few others have said since 2024.

Callahan was one of the worst coaching hires of all time.

It’s a plug and play position.  I wouldn’t spend a lot on one in FA because these guys are always found or developed as you say.
