Are you absolving Brinker of the hand he played in the franchise being where it is at this point? He was there for every move Ran made, and admittedly played a direct roll in the Sneed deal. He played a part in every failed move in that offseason, from Ridley to Sneed to Murray. He played a direct part in some of it, and signed off on the rest. So I'm not very confident in Brinker, but I do have full confidence in Borgonzi.

Ran was the guy who signed them. Did you not pay attention to that entire saga at all?  If we are going to go down that road, you gonna blame Brinker as well for not trading down and taking Sweat in round 2?

Brinker is a key figure in setting the strategy and the plan and moving it forward.  But Borgonzi has control of the roster.  Brinker’s FO power is to break ties/disagreeements on a player evaluation/acquisition between Borgonzi and the coaching staff.

Albert Breer has a few nuggets here about the HC search and some of the analytical studies the team is already undertaking about varying success rates of second time HC and coordinators with more than

It is becoming really annoying how some people are using bad result as an excuse to paint the last HC hiring process as a sham. Facts are Callahan was an in demand candidate during that hiring cycle e

Callahan was a great "candidate" and a terrible head coach.

Isn't the only highly drafted QB they've had in that time Pickett?  Other than that they've been going back and forth between back up types and bums because they win too much to draft a QB high. How is that primarily on Tomlin? Don't they have a GM

I think he has a ton of input but the final decision is down to the GM Omar Khan.

Im in the middle on this .  He clearly had some say in guys like Pickett and Justin Fields but how much of the driver in those decisions I can’t say.

So he gets half a pass on that from me.

Either way people bitching about Tomlin after the clown shows we’ve had since 2024 in the coaching department is strange to me.

I've narrowed my choices to Nagy and Shula, and Shula is rising fast..

Shula has been on staff with Fassel 😏, my only concern is who is offensive coordinator would be.  More than likely it would be an organizational pairing like when Vrabel/Lafleur.

I'm really not too interested in a retread this time, unless Tomlin or Harbaugh are an option. They would fix things in a hurry.

Otherwise, I want one of the below:

Chris Shula

Klint Kubiak

Mike LaFleur

Davis Webb

Me and you bud. People who aren’t cowards about hiring an unproven offensive coordinator as HC

This organization would trip over itself in excitement if it found itself in the unexpected fortune of being able to have Tomlin as head coach.

You all who are picking apart at the idea are coming from a laughable place of undeserved pompous and supercillious perspective

Tomlin is a great coach. You can give him credit for that while picking apart his OC and QB choices over the last 5-7 years. That being said, we are in the cellar. The guy clearly knows how to win and would instantly be the most popular person in Nashville and get us back to a level of respectability.

I have to admit - Tomlin is my favorite NFL Head Coach and has been for a long long time, but I refuse to get my hopes up about him coming to TN
