Week 5 Titans vs Cardinals Discussion

Recommended Posts

With the pressure building weekly on this franchise they desperately need a circuit breaker to relieve some of that pressure. That circuit breaker can come from a couple of different forms firstly a win against the Cardinals or secondly should they fail again a post Cardinals game firing of Brian Callahan, either way they just simply have to change the factory of sadness type doom hovering over the franchise.

In terms of injury news on his radio show today Callahan suggested Spears was likely to return and it also sounds like this is the week they are going to ramp up Kevin Winston Jr to see if he is right to play.

Less encouragingly Callahan didn't sound overly optimistic about Latham playing this week.

Dike should play Ridley's spot of course, with Restrepo in the slot.    They literally have nothing to lose at this point.

It's too bad they couldn't work things out with Tart. Tart at his best is better than anything Sweat has shown and they could have taken the Rams trade.

Latham injury worse than what we think. Should have been placed on IR. I'm sure he will eventually be placed on IR after we go 0-5.

Extreme times call for extreme measures.

Bench Sneed and play JAD and Baker Jr outside. Sneed sucks.

Bench Locket and promote Restrepo to help get Cam right. Lockett sucks.
If Oliver is back, play him the second Ridley drops a pass.
Enough dickin around.

Unfortunately benching Sneed is no form of punishment, as he still gets paid. At this point, he probably wants to get benched.

Agreed with the Lockett statement.  He's been absolutely awful this season. Might as well promote Restrepo at this point.

I don’t think it’s really been acknowledged but it’s probably time to have a conversation about how poor Barton has been post snap. I just used this post as a starter but it’s been something I’ve been noticing even since week 1.

We had some great LB talent we let go too
