I'm not trying to go full hater like Jamal but Zombie Ned would be bad

I don't know. If they didn't get hokey with it like Zombieland it could work. And if the Night King can raise dead bodies, even bodies that are nothing but bones, then it's possible we'll see the crypts of Winterfell become a killing field. Varys, Gilly, and all the total non-fighters looked like they were hunkered down there in the trailer...

Ned would be a bare skeleton after this many years.  That would look kind of cool except, would he be dribbling his skull?

Bran's purpose for existing may have everything to do with his own survival and Theon could conceivably fight his way out of things with his abilities with a bow, but I just don't see how Sam, Sansa, or Tyrion survive unless whoever is destined to kill the Night King kills him before the wights or white walkers get to them. Sam and Tyrion can barely fight their way out of a wet paper sack and Sansa can't even manage that.

Sam is one of two characters to have killed a WW.

Ned was cleaned down to his bones for transportation by the Silent Sisters and delivered to Cat.

A full skeleton has nothing connecting bones together. I don't think we have to get into the whole question of energy and lack of food, etc for animated corpses ... but I'd at least like the realism of needing tendons and connective material to actualize movement.

@Starkiller

When Sam told Jon who he was he said that he was Aegon, 6th of his name. But in his family tree there were 7 total who were named Aegon before him, including his own late brother, so shouldn't he be 7th or 8th of his name?

There were 5 kings named Aegon, so the others who never sat the Iron Throne didn’t count.
