They didn't really get him involved in much of anything until the 2nd half of the game. Jobs have to be lost on the field. Kinsey sucked ass when he got on the field.. lost his job. Restrepo came in and looked better. Now he can move up the depth chart and actually get to practice on ST and regular offense.

Many just get all racist and lump these white WRs together. they do work hard you know. But they are not all the same. When people compare him to other UDFAs.. he was by far more productive and at a much bigger program. Restrepo's football instincts and acumen are miles ahead of every WR we currently have on the roster. ... But he's short and slow... Yet he was still getting open against and elite defense... But he only had 2 catches... But there was a lot going on with the ones he missed and its his first game... Let it ride out. Digging in this hard feels very premature considering the only time he played this year was the only time this offense felt energized and it was against an elite D. Restepslow is Colombian, not white. Otherwise I get your point about @OILERMANbeing wrong time after time

That was something Nick Holz was saying and I think got Greg Cosell saying it as well, although idk how much Cosell already thought that or if he was just drifting off what Holz was saying. I don't know how true/accurate that is, or why Holz believes it, but it sounds similar to the kinds of things I remember Norm Chow saying about receiver "interchangeability" way back. That never made any sense to me and what Holz said doesn't either. Being able to mix and match guys where ever you want is always a good thing but i doubt its a completely deal breaker. Also difference between the Z and the slot isn't as drastic as it is between either of them and the X so you should be able tonslot pretty much anyone in both. What I think they could mean about the dedicated slot being dead is the wes welker all short routes slot being dead. Face

Idk what the design of the play/route was, but I know he lined up some there at Miami too. And he's got a number of vertical routes on film if you go back and look at his college highlights. He's not just running 5 yard outs all the time. Callidus

He's not just running 5 yard outs all the time. As long as they are not asking him to run deep post/corner plays or digs he should have the speed to get to the spot on time. Vertical and seam routes are more about getting a 1v1 or space in a bad defensive alignment. Its those deep crossing and corner routes where you need to get there to pull the defender to you or to exploit them being short at the right time. Alcibiades Posted yesterday at 01:01 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 01:01 PM A friend of a friend's doctor's wife said the injury to his leg is probably fatal. No, that you frame it this condescending ass way is what's bizzare. I know you, Oman, OS, rns90, and the like wish people would just shut up about him but too bad. Not gonna happen.
