AussieTitanFan08
The #Titans are adding a kicker, as they are signing former #Patriots and #Commanders kicker Joey Slye, per agent Glenn Schwartzman of Shark Sports Management. tgo
Big leg - kind of mediocre otherwise. Folk's body seems to be breaking down though. OnsideKick
scine09
I say this every year but I wish they'd just address this late in the draft. Fry, and SleepingTitan

BudsOilers
Younger leg with experience. Worth it to see if you can have a longer term solution at kicker.

There's more or less no difference. Drafted Kickers are actually rarely worth the investment Last 10 drafted Kickers Reichard - Looks good Cam Little - Looks good Jake Moody - Bust Chad Ryland - Cut after one year Anders Carlson - Cut after one year Cade York - Cut after one year Evan McPherson - Solid Justin Rohrwasser - Didn't make the roster Tyler Bass - Good Kicker Sam Sloman (Titans legend) - Cut during rookie year That's 4/10 at best that were close to worth a selection when they easily could've taken a shot on a real player rns90, IowaOiler, Starkiller, and 5 others

Might be less pressure not being with the team that drafted you.
BudsOilers
I think the different hashmarks are an adjustment for guys coming straight from college. Not to mention NFL games are generally closer so the pressure of kicks is a notch higher. chef

I'm all for adding a young leg and brining in camp competition. Maybe it's a young guy that got churned from another organization, maybe it's an undrafted Free Agent. I don't hope we use a draft pick on one--just sign the guy and see what he can do. Slye has been right around 80%, which is a significant drop off from Folk. Not sure what else you can do because time comes for us all.
