lol for real? This wasn't one of those tests you pay to take, was it?

(I mean, I imagine you or someone has to pay to take legitimate ones, but there are online places that do this and then placate their customers with an inflated result).

Nice try. Typical knee-capping effort that we see back here.

This was a professionally administered test (IQ among others) conducted by a consulting organization that my dad had hired for his company. He included me and my brothers for the heck of it.

For real!

He did it for his COMPANY and he just included my brothers and me in the test group of 50 or so. They did many profiling tests; the IQ was just one of them.

Don't be in such a hurry to discredit someone or something. Make sure you know what you're talking about... it's a bad look except to the few of you who sadly live for this kind of thing.

Maybe if you could learn to relax a bit, but we both know that isn't happening. You thought the football forum was rough? Nope.

Anyways, I'm rooting for you to pull the plank out of your eye and the stick out of your ass. Until that day I'll keep hoping.

@charleytolar

There's a difference between having a high IQ and actually leveraging the IQ you have available.

Even if you're story is halfway credible, looks like you decided not to leverage it!

Also, your dad probably just paid the consultants for a false test to make you feel good. Ever think of that possibility?

Enjoy.

Idea:

Maybe he had an IQ test and tested high but it's irrelevant to any of the other beefs you all have and this just all sounds stupid.

EQ is way more important anyway

Research has shown that EQ is a better predictor of success than intelligence quotient (IQ) or technical skills (Feist & Barron, 1996). Individuals with high EQ focus on the positive, listen before making decisions, admit mistakes, show empathy, and deal appropriately with negative emotions

It definitely is. IQ is overrated imo- when it comes to actual success.

I think Strunk doesn't eat dessert. Does that make you happy or sad?

There's also a thing called EQ which refers to Emotional Intelligence and measures the ability to understand and manage your own emotions and the emotions of others. It can help you build strong relationships, improve communication, and develop nuanced skills.

I bet you know what I'm about to say...
