Historically I'd disagree but I'm not so sure anymore. He's obviously frustrated and angry that Biden dropped out and now he's losing to Harris so his true thoughts are coming out. Is it on purpose or is it poor impulse control? I don't think he's ever really had good impulse control.. but he is a grifter and narcissistic conman so his impulses lead him into how better to manipulate ppl. The question is if that's still true or is he just lashing out w/ his true thoughts on women b/c he's running out of actual options. Fundraising, media attention, endorsements, online chatter, social media engagement- in every other measure - Trump's losing. Its hard to be confident without good polls but 1) we'll never have them and 2) confidence isn't really a good thing. Polls being close actually help maintain vigilance. But there are definite indicators that this is going the wrong way for him in a big way. IsntLifeFunny, and reo

Popular Post nine
There’s definitely a sense of Trump quickly losing momentum….and as sports fans know all too well, once the momentum shifts in the other direction, it’s hard to stop. This is especially true with a narcissistic loose cannon like Trump. When Biden was desperately bailing water trying to salvage his campaign, Trump remained relatively (and very uncharacteristically) passive…perfectly content to let Joe flounder. But with Harris stepping in and now dominating all the media attention…Trump is back to his loose-cannon tendencies in a desperate effort to reclaim media attention and slow her momentum. But dumb and narcissistic are a bad strategic combination: now he’s swinging for the fences…and is sticking his foot in his mouth and getting attention for all the wrong reasons. And alienating entire classes of voting demographics along the way. An 80-year old white man openly questioning a black woman’s ethnic identity? Unbelievable. Now 24 hours later, he’s stating his belief that a black woman is incapable of commanding respect with international relations…. because of her appearance. Never mind qualifications, background, or her professional and political acumen. In the World According to Trump, a black woman can’t handle the job… either because she’s black and/or because she’s a woman. The guy is a pompous and misogynistic buffoon and an absolute embarrassment not just to America but to western culture as a whole. Perhaps he’d be better served running for office in Saudi Arabia or Afghanistan where his rich Saudi buddies and the Taliban wholeheartedly support his values. If you talk to people in New York they will tell you Trump has always been this guy. Horrible business man who doesn't pay his partners or workers. He didn't fool anyone, it was always right there for everyone to see. Hillary was carrying decades of baggage - most of it long used misinformation combined with the usual desire of voters to want change after 8 years and some really odd things like emails/Comey. So maybe in retrospect, that one had a lot of circumstantial stuff attached to it. The 2020 50/50 close election probably hurt my faith in voters more. By then there was no excuse really. The better angels won but it was closer than it ever should have been. I carry that same lack of faith into this election. I'm hoping for a landslide to take that weight off. (not predicting or expecting one) Otherwise- this may be our new reality with every 4 years a battle against crazies who want to dismantle everything. A landslide, may finally bring about some changes across the GOP. (hopefully).
