I wonder if Kyle Phillips is the dark horse candidate to take hold of the 3rd spot. Maybe he helped give the FO a reason not to draft a receiver until the 6th round. Or maybe I'm talking out of my ass. But Phillips was always an afterthought on offense with the previous staff.

If we're really going to a more open offense then there will be more food on the table for receivers to eat. Maybe we had a hidden gem on the roster the whole time?

I'm also saying all of this because that list of FA receivers makes me queasy and Phillips being a dude would make this easy.

I think Phillips is the #6 WR and game day inactive.  At least to start the season.

Jackson has to be #5 to be up on game day so he can return.

The fact they took Jackson over M Washington, who is a much better WR, tells us they want a dedicated returner active.

Jackson may be a better slot than many hear expect. Has pretty good short area quickness...and 4.4 speed.

S, another edge guy, and perhaps a vet RT (Hubbard) would be the logical/sensible pickups.   S wise, Simmons and Diggs make the most sense to me albeit the Titans coaches do have a history with Adams and Maye.

I'd throw Dupree into the edge mix with those other guys.  His issue before was more the contract ROI but he has as much tread left as these others listed.

Salary wise who of this list are we realistically looking at?

Simmons would be great but is probably still getting decent cash.

Boyd seems to be the only decent option, still older but productive. Can fill in if Hopkins/Ridley go down.

Good point, as a vet cheap edge setter Dupree would be a decent option.

Whyle is the inline TE. He's supposedly bulked up to be that guy since Okonkwo will be the move TE.

Simmons is a great target and I doubt there are many teams who still have the cap room to make him a competitive offer.

Would also love to see Lawson help round out the edge rushing group.

WR there are some interesting names on that list but I think they'll stick with what they have at this point.

No really good OTs out there that are truly worth the money. Now that you've upgraded the LT spot, I think it makes sense to see if Hubbard (EDIT* I meant NPF here) can hold up at RT.

Long way of saying bring in Simmons and Lawson and call it good until after camp.

I'm guessing Whyle will be one of the more improved players on the roster
