IsntLifeFunny
The fact people are holding a bar of Tannehill to Levis is one of the points about this shitshow. It isn't something that goes against either side of the discussion. The fact is this is an absolute dumpster fire of a team and neither/no QB could do well in these situations. True but if you’re gonna crow about Levis‘s passer, ratings and touchdown passes and the 14 points, putting it in Contacts is pretty important. The game was over when the offense actually did anything.

Absolutely and some of us figured this out a while ago while some are just realizing this these past couple of weeks. Mythos27
SleepingTitan
It can't be turned around quickly because it didn't fall apart quickly. The motherfuckers didn't draft anybody for 2 years. Show many any coach without Tom Brady or Mahomes that could go 2 years with no draft picks. Show me 1 mfer who could survive with an aging T2-T3 QB or Rookie with potential with an Oline made up of scrubs. If they have a 2019 value draft and replace Oline, find a receiver, AND spend that $100M, yeah maybe Levis can develop in 2024. He probably won't be ready, but we might make the playoffs. This totally ignores that we have contracts to replace. Right now is when the 2020-2021 picks would be performing and adding value for their contracts. But they're all Farley's and Isaiah Wilsons C_Train, and Mythos27
SleepingTitan
I will say this: we got cash and a QB. If we parlay that #3-6 pick into some mega value, and spend the $100M (all while making good picks and acq) we might be able to do something.

IowaOiler
Where are all the posters claiming it was stupid to consider the Jags better than us? It was the bulk of the board, so I don't think anyone can claim perfection in predicting this season. That said, can we all admit I was right about meathead? I knew exactly what Vrabel meant last off season when he said we gotta get faster. It wasn't just about a speedy WR like people want to make it out to be. Team speed on both sides of the ball us still severely lacking. Yeah well he shouldn’t have bad mouthed David long and then let him walk. He was our only defender that you could say had above average speed (outside of maybe Landry??), and Vrabel was done with him. titans79
OzTitan
Vrabel also explicitly said he wasn't going to run into stacked boxes. IowaOiler, rns90, and titanskick8851 2
Number9
Vrabel needs players. Vrabel needs a QB to win a title. That's why QB's make the big bucks. Let's fire him, now! Then we can dream about how great our new coach is going to be! Vrabel couldn't do blah, blah, blah. The new coach is a blah, blah, blah specialist. He had 2 turnovers and should have had at least two more. It's why the Cards went away from him and it will do him in with the Vikings as well. nine
I suspect Dobbs’ play this year buys him a nice career as a journeyman QB2 for the next few years. rns90, IsntLifeFunny, and DCTitan
