This is pretty comprehensive. Ran and Vrabel had one responsibility after Robinson was canned. Fix a bad OL. They dicked around and wound up with an almost impossible result - a way worse OL than last

And hiring a totally under qualified coach to be in charge of the unit that needed the most help is also a huge indictment of the issues he has caused.

How does anyone defend Vrabel or want to keep Vrabel when he openly admits that the Jags are better coached?

btw, not directed at you @tgo

It sounded more like a message to ownership, whether it's here or in NE, that the Jags have more talent but he threw the coaching piece in there to avoid throwing players under the bus.

He was just trying to sound accountable/humble with the coaching bit. What he was really saying was that the roster is trash - just trying to say it diplomatically.

Just because you're considered a top QB draft prospect doesn't mean you're "generational". That term is way over-used. By definition those guys don't come around very often, but every year you hear the term tossed around to describe the guys at the top of the draft. Neither of the so-called top draft prospects are sure things. Luck was a sure thing. Burrow was a sure thing. There's nobody in this draft that falls into that category. Jayden Daniels has shown more against much better competition than either of the top two prospects, and I wouldn't say he's a sure bet either.

Levis hasn't shown enough for this stance yet.

I get it...but no one will behind this offensive line and with this group of receivers. I am far from ready to crown anyone, but at some point there has to be an extended opportunity for growth with talent around whichever QB you ride with.

I agree. I prefer him out of the two, but I would much rather trade back if we landed in position to take either of them and build around Levis, who you already invested into.

Very possibly. Depends on what he shows the rest of the season.

Agreed, but that doesn't mean if the Titans are somehow drafting top 2 that they wouldn't seriously consider one of them as a much better QB. Both are definitely smoother in the passing game but neither have the arm talent or toughness.

It'll be really interesting to watch if we lose to Carolina.
