You can't be serious with this comparison. Please tell me you're just be hyperbolic to be funny.

I’m genuinely asking? You seem to think it’s coaching, based on your response.

That offense is terrible but Pickett is going to be a career backup or out of the league soon. He’s terrible.

I mean, there is no comparison in the talent levels of each team. The Steelers aren't world-beaters by any stretch but their talent level isn't so low as to make it nearly impossible to win. They're more talented than us at nearly every position group. Shit, they could actually be considered a good team The difference in offensive lines alone is enough to render this comparison invalid. You also have Tomlin essentially confirming that this is a coaching issue first by bringing Canada down to the sidelines and now by firing him. I don't follow the Steelers all that closely so x's and o's-wise, I can't tell you what Canada was or wasn't doing but here's what I can tell you; if Kenny Pickett was a better QB, Canada would likely still have his job. I was hoping you weren't making a serious comparison here.

Shaq Leonard was just waived.

First team all pro in most 2021 ... hell of a start to his career

Injures derailed him last season and he hasn't really recovered.

Sprint and grab this guy. Let him chill and heal. He'd be an awesome start to helping rebuild the defense.

I mean it was mostly tongue and cheek. Not a direct comparison. I do think you’re overstating the roster talent though.

For the Steelers? They're not crazy talented compared to the actual contenders in the league but they're pretty clearly a cut above us. To be fair, most teams feel a cut above us. Hurts to say but the OL makes us that bad. Even if we do have some young, promising players with some talent, it just doesn't matter. The OL negates everything else for us. Hopefully we catch lightning in a bottle with the duo of Radunz and Duncan but I'm not gonna hold my breath.

I do think we have the players to have an average Oline if they were just playing in their best spots and not injured. and we had an Oline e coach that new how to coach oline.... and OC who put them in the best situations to win and gain confidence.

It's something that falls squarely on meathead.  I don't know about the talent being capable of being average, but it's shocking that some players have been relegated to certain positions, despite showing to be better than other players at more important positions.
