BudsOilers
So far, the Titans offense has been either really good or really bad depending on if they are in Nashville or on the road (and I include London as it was a neutral site). Despite the false narrative that it's all QB related..... The reality is that the offense vs Atlanta was just like the ones we saw vs the Chargers and Bengals. The test for Thursday will be if the offense can actually be good on the road. Given the next 3 games are on the road, the season pretty much is in the balance. Home Offense: 27.3 PPG, 372 yards, 3.3 TD's/game. Road Offense: 12.5 PPG, 240 yards, 0.5 TD/game. TerryBoats, and rns90
rns90
I’d add that the DLs we’ve faced on the road are better than the home ones which is also a factor. Hope they can at least try to limit the amount of havoc TJ Watt can wreck. BudsOilers, CreepingDeath, and Justafan

CreepingDeath
The offense is so much the same I was worried that Tannehill was going to re-injure his ankle throwing those 4 TDs! titanruss, Jamalisms, and IsntLifeFunny 1

TerryBoats
What's hilarious is that these numbers are absolutely telling and damning, yet people won't be able to see that due to their disdain for Tannehill . big2033
The best line is "We saw offense just like vs. the Chargers and Bengals." Yeah just like it. titanruss
titanruss
Seems like a really dumb idea for a thread to make after this week. Probably should wait for more games from Levis before acting like they are interchangeable. big2033

The offense averaged 370 yards and 27 points in the other 2 home games. They gained 375 yards and 28 points on Sunday with Levis. So he stands corrected- Levis elevated the offense to 5 more yards and 1 more point than usual.

Nobody is trying to sabotage the career of a rookie who just threw 4 TDs so that they can relive the glory days with a 35 year old QB. I don't understand the point of joining a football forum just to have boneheaded discussions. The sport is filled with nuance, context, which is why analytics are such a big part of it right now. There are plenty of places to shout " Tannehill bad! Levis good!". But why would you want to waste a significant portion of your time on an online forum doing so? If the offense success on Thursday, that will be evidence that Tannehill was the one who was responsible for the struggles on the road. But if the offense is awful-yet again- then this post will look extremely relevant. That's how things like this work.
