If you want those guys, you’ll have to move quick in the off season though. Johnson is essentially going to have the pick of whatever job he prefers. Johnson is pretty much from a 4-3 background, the Titans would have to do a lot of personnel moves if he was determined to run it here.
OzTitan
Whether Vrabel has shown some good things through the adversity or not is really not the point - is he the guy who can build a modern offense around Levis? can he get the staff needed to do that and can he himself do that? Is he likely the best person for that? Stranger, BudsOilers, and ctm 2
No1TitansFan
At some point Amy is going to have to chime in on Vrabel's status; her silence is going to get more deafening and create a bigger and bigger distraction. titanskick8851, Number9, and IsntLifeFunny

I'm not sure it is that much of a distraction really - he is never getting fired mid season and I think most players and staff realize entering any offseason that things can change quickly, so it hanging won't do that much for the here and now. And I have my doubts much of the Titans media will press on it anyway.

Nashville talk radio today that was pretty much all they were talking about. titanskick8851, and Number9 1

Right, fans will talk about it for sure - I don't think that will necessarily result in a distraction for the team this season though. Even if asked, Vrabel can shrug it off easily. Amy addressing it now if anything might result in more negative fan feedback. No1TitansFan, and Mythos27

This just started last week. If she doesn't stand by Vrabel, then her plan is just snow the fans with bs. imo. No1TitansFan

Whisenhunt was hired while she was a minority owner IIRC, where as I think she's probably built a better relationship with Vrabel given his much longer tenure. Granted it is a bit spooky how both situations are dominated by a rookie QB they struggle to keep protected, although I think this time it is probably harder to see how an interim coach could help, unless there's genuine ego at play about not trying PS at LT, which seems a bit silly to suggest could be a catalyst for a Vrabel firing, but you never know (even if there was, it hardly seems like it would be impactful enough to matter). A GM is not really the same thing, not to mention we don't really know the full story on that still. oldschool

Any quality prospective HC candidate will currently have a cushy job and their pick of the upcoming vacancies. An organization with little fanfare and talent and an owner who publicly humiliates successful GMs and coaches isn't going to be high on anyone's list.
