Popular Post tgo
I’m gonna get roasted for this take but: To my eye, Vrabel has handled the adversity well, kept the team and locker room together. He’s handled the QB changeover and everything that’s come with it well too. I think players like playing for him and coaches like coaching for him. He’s done everything humanly possible to keep Levis upright from keeping skill players in to pass block at a league high rate, to this week saying fuck it and just keeping in a 6th OL at TE too. This offseason he went outside his line and brought in several coaches from outside - Outten, London, Chris Harris (questionable hires on OL and TE coach though). In my view, Vrabel has been actually improving in decision making over the course of the year - from his handling of the Levis change, to benching Fulton and Dillard and progressively reducing Chig and Key’s snaps and even Henry’s compared to prior years. In short - I feel better now about Vrabel than I did in Sep/Oct. If New England makes a good offer after the season - definitely should take it ans trade him. But I don’t think firing him is warranted as long as he’s willing to make a couple more staff changes. With him inviting Pees to the facility this summer and Pees saying he’s got the itch to coach again while he was visiting with Vrabel - it could be smart to bring him in as a Sr Defensive Assistant again for a year or two if Vrabel is still around. Bulluck4dmvp
Most importantly, can you trust him and Kelly(?) to build a competent offense? His most important position coach, which also happens to be the worst on the team, literally has no viable experience and track record of success. This is an opportunity for Amy to bring in an offensive-minded head coach, especially ahead of moving to the new stadium. Points, winning and excitement sell tickets - Vrabel ain’t it. Also, the Eagles play a different style of offense. The Titans could have run the exact same plays, but he would get 65% as much production. At this point all I see is 'we don't like Vrabel's offense'. Better to just say that over and over because winning game obviously is not enough to satisfy a lot of fans. I get it. Just say, 'we would rather be Chargers fans because they have an exciting offense. He won regular season games, won the worst division in football a couple times, and won COY once. Let me know when he wins something that matters.
Kirkster
I would take the Patriots 2nd rounder this year and a 2nd rounder in 2025 for Vrabel right now. IowaOiler, IsntLifeFunny, DCTitan, and 1 other

A lot of good points. Players play hard/smart at the same time for MV. Mike Vrabel needs a QB who can win games running his offense. We have seen Titans@KC. Mike is respected by the NFL. I Think they should give him 3yrs. 2023 Year 1, evaluate Levis. Year 2. (a)draft the best LT available or (b)draft the best QB available. Year 3. evaluate Vrabel. The NFL is an arena for long-range players. If you have an owner throwing hissy fits, firing GMs and HCs you got a problem. You just saw it. GM opening. Who showed up to get the job? If there's a young hot coach out there, history shows he will not be visiting Nashville. Let Vrabel have a QB.

Number9
I think Vrabel would do very well in NE. Vrabel is the right kind of guy to coach the team, but you need a strong GM/Ownership team acquiring balanced talent. Also, solving why his defensive talent develops the best. Something is wrong with the Titans scouting department. Wilson. Farley. Burks. Clean house or fund it properly. I can forgive Farley as just stupidity, but I want to see the records of who recommended Burks. DCTitan, and IowaOiler 1
Popular Post AvgJoe
UNLESS Mike Vrabel hires a Jim Schwartz to run the defense AND brings in a true OC and gets the hell out of the way, he should be fired. TF_Titan
8 hours ago, oldschool said: Its all related. The Titans can't sustain offense so the defense tires out and then collapses as the game goes on. It goes both ways...the defense also allows long drives that limit offensive possessions. titanskick8851

Ben Johnson and Bobby Slowik probably top the list. Maybe Brian Johnson from Philly. If you want those guys, you’ll have to move quick in the off season though. Johnson is essentially going to have the pick of whatever job he prefers. IowaOiler, AvgJoe, IsntLifeFunny, and 1 other
