I don't remember a single team where not only the HC, but often the coordinators and even position coaches had significant influence on who made the final roster. Of course he had say. What’s maybe obvious is that maybe he should have been flushed along with Quiver chins last year, since they were aligned in philosophy and well acquiring shitty OL and not understanding pass protection BudsOilers, and IowaOiler

Levis limits it by throwing when he should take a sack. I'll agree with that. If Levis throws 10 more picks with 0 TDs... their production rate will be similar. So give me the guy who takes risks. The big flaw in your premise is that Levis has not been extended plays when pressured. Throwing an off target throw or up for grabs isn't "extending plays"......Mainly for the same reason Tannehill wasn't. The pressure is routinely happening so fast that escape routes are not available other than a play here and there,

I'm not suggesting the HC should have no influence. And of course when it comes to final rosters the coach will have a lot say. Shit in that particular case he should have way more say than the GM. But the lines should not be blurred to the point where we can't even tell who is making the decisions. Ozzy Newsome is regarded as one one the best GMs ever. No one mentions the coaches that Ozzy worked with for a reason.

To act like it's totally different now than then or 2022 is laughable. But your retardation doesn't end here! The metrics show the OL is causing the pressures and the QB's are down at the bottom in terms of league rankings as being responsible for it. Secondly, the "deep passes" stats are almost identical in completion, attempts, YPA, completion %, and TWP% and it would be lower for Levis if not for a blown coverage by ATL and a non-call on OPI on another. The big difference is that Levis had 3 long TD passes whereas Tannehill's long pass plays were not for TD's and All of Tannehill's TWP plays were caught as INT's whereas only 2 of Levis' were..... Then you get to points scored. As of right now, PPG are slightly down with the QB change (16.7 vs 17.3)...... BTW on your "sacks" metric, you do realize Tannehill has more drop backs at this point so the 19 vs 10 volume number is not correct to use in this method....Tannehill's sack rate is higher (10.7%) than Levis (8.5%) and so is the P2S rate (26.8% vs 18.2%) but it's not 50% more you fucking moron. Sacks to pressure Tannehill was taking 50% more. The pressure rate is 20% different. Via your own chart, the pressure rate caused by the QB is 50% more with Tannehill. These are not insignificant numbers. So instead of making this about what the thread is about - The QB switch allows more plays to happen regardless of Oline - you are now trying to switch into an argument about Levi's' decision making on throws. No1TitansFan
They've drafted what was supposed to be a stud RT, 3LTs over the last 4 years, 2 first rounders, a second and a third, and have gotten a starting LG out of it; plenty of blame to go around on both the acquisition and development end. Jury is still out on 2 of them but they don't seem to be starting caliber so far. They tried to hand the RT to Rad and he wasn't capable of doing it. Hopefully he's one of those guys who flourishes on one side but can't transition to the other.
